Abstract: The study examines the influence of character accentuations on interpersonal relationships of adolescents in crisis conditions, in particular in war. The results showed that character accentuations significantly affect social adaptation, emotional stability, and the way they respond to stress. Adolescents with different types of accentuations demonstrate different styles of behavior, which is manifested in social contacts and the ability to adapt in crisis conditions. For example, adolescents with hyperthymic accentuation are more open to active social interactions, while adolescents with anxious accentuation tend to avoid conflicts. Gender and age differences in interpersonal interaction styles have also been identified. Boys tend to be more authoritarian and aggressive, while girls are more cooperative and friendly. The results of the correlation analysis confirmed the relationship between accentuation types and styles of social interaction, which allows us to better understand the mechanisms of adolescents’ adaptation to social conditions, particularly in crisis situations. Taking these features into account is important for the development of psychological interventions that help reduce anxiety and facilitate the socialization of adolescents, in particular under stress. Keywords: character accentuation, interpersonal relationships, adolescents, crisis conditions, social adaptation, emotional stability, gender differences.
