Abstract: ? The relevance of the use of socio-psychological management tools is due to the need to form a labour collective of psychologically compatible employees and the need to form and develop a positive socio-psychological climate in the team. Socio-psychological methods are those ways of influencing employees that are based on the laws of psychology and sociology. In this case, psychology focuses on the peculiarities of a person’s personality, his or her behavioural response, and the conditions that determine the development of personality. Sociology, on the other hand, focuses on the peculiarities of an individual in a team, society, etc. The level of success of the application of social and psychological management methods is determined by the factors of reliability, openness of relations between the management and the labour collective of the organisation in the process of functioning of the institution or organisation. The purpose of the master’s qualification work research: substantiation and deepening of theoretical knowledge, formation of practical skills and abilities to manage social institutions. Research objectives: 1) to analyse the content of the category ‘methods of social and psychological influence in management processes’; 2) to summarise the importance of methods of socio-psychological influence in management processes and approaches to their application; 3) to carry out an empirical study of the socio-psychological climate in social institutions; 4) to develop and substantiate recommendations for improving the methods of socio-psychological influence in the management processes of social institutions. The object of the study is management processes in social institutions of Ukraine. The subject of the study is the methods and forms of administrative influence, the system of relations and connections, and managerial functions. The first section analyses the theoretical and methodological foundations of studying the methods of social and psychological influence in the management processes of social institutions. The second section examines the features of socio-psychological methods in personnel management, their risks, advantages, reserves, and disadvantages. It is established that when using individual socio-psychological methods in personnel management or their complex, it is necessary to be guided by the system of priorities and values formed in the process of the organisation’s functional activity. The third chapter of the master’s research is devoted to the study of socio-psychological methods of influence in the context of management processes in the Lviv City Employment Centre. The research conducted in the third chapter has shown that in market conditions, with the intellectualisation of all types of labour, the role of socio-psychological management factors is increasing significantly. Rational technical organisation A rational technical organisation ensures high labour productivity only if the individual and psychological characteristics of each employee are effectively used.
