Abstract: International research is an important tool for integrating scientific institutions into the global academic space, contributing to the development of innovations, improving the quality of education and strengthening international cooperation. A feature of such research is its multiculturalism, interdisciplinary nature, as well as the need to adapt to global trends in science and education. One of the key characteristics of international research is the involvement of researchers from different countries in the process, which allows taking into account various approaches, methods and contexts (Artyukhina, 2022). At the same time, this creates challenges related to communication, legal aspects of intellectual property and harmonization of research standards. International research is also aimed at solving global problems, such as climate change, demographic shifts, social inequality, and requires significant resources - both intellectual and financial (Androschuk, 2024; Petrychenko, 2023; Shchedrina, 2024). Issues of analyzing the essence, features, principles and stages of implementing scientific research have been addressed by domestic and foreign authors, in particular M. Artyukhina (2022), A. Androschuk (2024), L. Zhuk (2018), O. Kuzmin (2018), A. Polyanska (2023), O. Sharpan (2023) and other authors. For educational institutions that conduct international research, it is important not only to generate new knowledge, but also to transfer technologies, involve students in scientific activities and increase their mobility (Androschuk, 2024; Zhuk, 2018). This allows for the creation of international networks of partners that facilitate the exchange of ideas, best practices and research results. International research in higher education is an important tool for the development of institutions, as it allows them to integrate into the global scientific space, increase competitiveness and promote intercultural cooperation. A feature of international research is its interdisciplinary nature, which provides the opportunity to integrate knowledge from branches of science, create innovative approaches to solving problems and implement the latest technologies (Polyanska, 2023). The object of this work is the Department of Management and International Entrepreneurship of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic". The subject of the research is the implementation of the strategy for the development of international activities of domestic scientific institutions. The purpose of writing a qualification paper is: studying the essence and features of international activities; analyzing the production and economic activities of the studied object, its organizational management structure; analyzing the problems that the department faces when carrying out international activities. Thus, the development of international cooperation is an important strategic direction for an educational institution, which positively affects all aspects of its activities. The opportunity for students to gain international experience, participate in scientific conferences, academic mobility programs and receive double diplomas increases the attractiveness of the university for applicants. In parallel, the improvement of the qualifications of teachers and the implementation of joint scientific projects contribute to the growth of the rating of the educational institution both at the national and international levels (Shchedrina, 2024). The formation of an effective strategy for international cooperation requires a systematic approach that will take into account both internal weaknesses and external opportunities. It should be based on a deep analysis of the needs of the scientific community, include modern management mechanisms and contribute to the formation of the international image of Ukraine as a country capable of offering competitive scientific solutions. It is this approach in implementing the strategy for the development of international activities that will be the application of the SCRAMM approach in the activities of the Department of Management and International Entrepreneurship in the context of deepening cooperation with Germany. This approach allows for a structured approach to the development of international cooperation, increasing the efficiency of each stage of the process.
