Abstract: The combination of epoxy resins with polyesters is carried out, on the one hand, to reduce the cost of materials based on epoxy, and on the other - to improve their properties. In most cases, polyesters serve as plasticizers of epoxy compositions and therefore are not chemically bonded to the polymer network of the epoxy polymer. However, such plasticization of epoxy compositions, despite the fact that it allows reducing the fragility of products, in general, does not improve their operational properties. This is due to the fact that polyester, which is not chemically bound to epoxy resin molecules, “sweats out” during the operation of the polymer material and thereby leads to a deterioration in its properties. In this regard, there is a need to develop methods that would allow polyester resin to chemically enter the structure of a cross-linked epoxy oligomer. The object of research is composite materials. The subject of research is epoxy resins, oligoesters and hardeners of various nature. The aim of the work is to create epoxy-oligoester compositions and on their basis to create new coatings with high anti-corrosion properties. To solve the goal set in the work: - a peroxide derivative of epoxy resin ED-20 was synthesized in the presence of quaternary ammonium salts (QAS); - methods for forming epoxy-oligoester compositions based on industrial epoxy resin ED-20, peroxide resin ED-20M and oligoester acrylates during heating were developed; - structuring of epoxy-oligoester compositions using various hardeners was investigated; - the influence of various factors on the content of the gel fraction, hardness and other indicators in epoxy-oligoester compositions was studied. In the master’s thesis, a modified peroxide derivative of epoxy resin ED -20 in the presence of quaternary ammonium salts (QSA) was synthesized and studied, methods for forming epoxy-oligoester compositions based on industrial epoxy resin ED-20, peroxide resin ED-20M and oligoester acrylates during heating were developed, the influence of the composition of the compositions and the duration of structuring on the hardening process of epoxy -oligoester compositions with the achievement of a high content of gel fraction and sufficient hardness of coatings was studied, the physicochemical characteristics of the compositions were determined and the advantage of epoxy-oligoester compositions containing peroxide resin ED-20P over those compositions that do 8 not contain this resin was shown, economic calculations were performed and the costs of conducting scientific research were calculated. Keywords – polymer, oligomers, composite materials, epoxy resin, structuring, hardeners.
