Abstract: This master’s thesis is dedicated to the development and implementation of an automated plant care management system to enhance the ease and efficiency of plant maintenance through the use of Internet of Things (IoT) technology. Automated plant monitoring systems represent an innovative solution that combines sensor technology with software, allowing for real-time monitoring of plant conditions and providing timely recommendations to the user. The work includes an analysis of existing solutions in the market of automated plant care systems and reviews scientific and technical developments in this field. Based on the collected data, the concept of the automated management system is developed, defining its key functional capabilities and system requirements. The development of the hardware-software complex for automated plant care is carried out, including the design and implementation of the electronic system, selection and integration of necessary sensors, microcontroller programming, and creation of appropriate user interface software. After development, the system prototype is built and tested to verify its functionality, reliability, and efficiency. The results of testing are analyzed and evaluated according to predefined criteria. The thesis also explores the interaction between the hardware and software components of the system through wireless data exchange, implemented using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth technology. This allows data on plant conditions to be transmitted to a mobile application or Telegram bot, providing convenient system management. The practical part of the work includes a developed mobile application that allows users to receive data from the system and control it remotely. In conclusion, the master’s thesis aims to create a comprehensive automated plant management system that simplifies the care process and increases its efficiency. The research and development results can be used for further advancement of automated solutions in the field of plant care and their integration into household and commercial applications. The conclusions reflect the readiness for the deployment of the developed system and its integration with mobile platforms to enhance user convenience.
