Qualification requirements and regulations, including graduation requirements: Total studying program completion, pre-diploma practice according to masters’ qualification thesis topic and masters’ qualification thesis defence.
Characteristics of the educational program: The educational and scientific program is based on well-known statements and results of modern scientific research in the areas of electronic communications and radio engineering, within which further professional and scientific careers are possible. In particular: in scientific, engineering and managerial positions in industrial, research and educational organizations, performing functions related to the design of telecommunications software platforms, administration of information systems, development of software and hardware, systems and complexes, teaching disciplines in the specialty in educational institutions, as well as continuing education in educational and scientific programs of the third level of higher education.
Програмні результати навчання: - the ability to critically analyze and integrate modern scientific achievements in the field of telecommunications and radio engineering to substantiate and conduct original research; - the ability to identify and critically understand problems in the field of telecommunications and radio engineering and at the border of other industries, applying interdisciplinary approaches to their solution; - the ability to apply specialized methods and tools to solve complex engineering and scientific problems in the field of telecommunications and radio engineering, aimed at the development of new knowledge and innovative solutions; - the ability to integrate diverse knowledge and solve complex problems in a broad or multidisciplinary context (telecommunications systems, networks, radio engineering devices), taking into account technical, economic and social aspects; - ability to justify and make decisions in new or unfamiliar environments under conditions of incomplete/limited information, anticipating possible risks and consequences in the context of social and ethical responsibility; - ability to communicate clearly and reasonedly the results of research and development (including in English), justifying one's own conclusions for both specialists and non-specialists; - ability to plan and implement one's own trajectory of professional and scientific development, demonstrating a high level of autonomy and the ability to continuous learning throughout life; - ability to design, model and analyze telecommunications systems and radio engineering devices using modern tools, taking into account the requirements of efficiency and reliability; - ability to plan and conduct scientific research in the field of telecommunications and radio engineering, formulate and substantiate new hypotheses, analyze and interpret results in compliance with the principles of academic integrity; - ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to increase the efficiency, reliability and functionality of telecommunication systems and radio devices. Communication: - ability to communicate at different levels of communication, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and one of the foreign languages (English, German, French, Spanish), in particular to understand the tasks, formulate an assessment of its feasibility, ask questions and comments, report on results of work, make a public speech / presentation, etc.; - ability to use a variety of methods and means of communication, including advanced information technology in professional and social communication. Autonomy and responsibility: - ability to adapt to new situations and make appropriate decisions; - the ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge; - the ability to act responsibly to the work performed, to make decisions independently, to achieve the goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics; - ability to demonstrate an understanding of basic environmental principles, occupational safety and health and their application.
