Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning: Applicants for the Bachelor’s Degree are obliged to prove the recognition of their secondary education which is arranged by Lviv Polytechnic National University. There are no possibilities for recognizing non-formal and informal education.
Qualification requirements and regulations, including graduation requirements: Successful fulfilment of the Bachelor’s educational and qualification level of appropriate year of enrollment. Fulfilment of the curriculum elements, including the Bachelor’s Thesis Internship, Qualification Examination and Bachelor’s Thesis Defence.
Characteristics of the educational program: The aim of educational and professional program is to form students knowledge, skills and abilities, necessary for successful professional activity in the field of international information and international communications, as well as to prepare for further study.
Програмні результати навчання: - to know and understand the nature of international relations and
regional development, evolution, the state of theoretical studies of international relations and world politics, as well as the nature and sources of state policy in the international arena and the activities of other participants in international relations;
- to know and understand the nature and dynamics of international
security, understand the peculiarities of its provision at the global, regional and national level, know the nature and approaches to solving international and internationalized conflicts;
- to know the nature of international cooperation, the nature of interaction between international actors, the ratio of state and non-state actors in world politics;
- to know the principles, mechanisms and processes of ensuring the foreign policy of states, the interaction between foreign and domestic policies, the definition and implementation of the national interests of states on the international arena, the process of forming and implementing foreign policy decisions;
- to know the nature and mechanisms of international communications;
- to know the nature and character of interactions of individual countries and regions at the global, regional and local levels;
- carry out a description and analysis of the international situation, collect the necessary information about international and foreign political events and processes from various sources;
- collect, process and analyze large volumes of information about the state of international relations, foreign policy of Ukraine and other states, regional systems, international communications;
- investigate the problems of international relations,
regional development, foreign policy, international communications, using modern political, economic and legal theories and concepts, scientific methods and interdisciplinary approaches, present research results, provide relevant recommendations;
- communicate freely in national and foreign languages at a professional level necessary for professional discussion, preparation of analytical and research documents;
- carry out an applied analysis of international relations, foreign policy of Ukraine and other states, international processes and the international situation in accordance with the set goals, prepare informational and analytical materials;
- to have the skills of professional oral and written translation from/to foreign languages, in particular, from the professional subject of international cooperation, foreign policy, international communications, regional studies, bilateral and multilateral international projects;
- conduct a professional discussion on the problems of international relations, international communications, regional studies, foreign political activity, argue one's position, respect opponents and their points of view;
- use modern digital technologies, specialized software, databases and information systems for solving complex specialized problems in the field of international relations, social communication and/or regional studies;
- understand and apply current legislation to solve complex specialized problems of international relations, social communication and regional studies, international regulatory documents and agreements, reference materials, current standards and technical conditions, etc.;
- understand and defend the national interests of Ukraine in international activities;
- have the skills of self-determination of educational goals and learning, finding educational resources necessary for their achievement;
- to know modern technologies used for search, analysis, processing and presentation of information in the field of international relations, primarily Big Data technologies;
- choose and use management methods international information flows, in particular for the purposes of national branding and branding of territories;
- apply information and communication technologies and understand their features in a global dimension.

Work placement(s): Bachelor’s Thesis internship is intended to study questions analyzed in the Bachelor’s Thesis on the basis of actual state of things, which exists within internship bases such as ventures and organizations.

Occupational profiles of graduates: 1. Analyst in the area of foreign policy information consulting with knowledge of foreign languages.
The object of the bachelor's activity is the causes, nature and consequences of political and legal decision-making in the context of crisis social and political phenomena at the global, regional and national levels. The bachelor's activities are related to holding primary positions in the organization and implementation of information and analytical activities in international relations and social communication. Using the methods of crisis communications, data visualization technologies, fundamental knowledge about the information and knowledge society and the protection of human rights therein, the bachelor provides services in the search and analysis of information, preparation of analytical documents for the optimization of decision-making in states in general and in relation to forecasting crises and conflicts in particular.
2. Analyst in the area of international information management with knowledge of foreign languages.
The object of the bachelor's activity is the toolkit of the information and communication sphere, in particular, the one used in media monitoring at the regional and national levels. The bachelor's activities are related to holding primary positions related to information activities in state and local self-government bodies, international intergovernmental, as well as non-governmental organizations, private companies. Using international information systems and technologies, databases, indexes and ratings, as well as information and communication technologies for the construction of social processes and branding, the bachelor provides services for information and analytical support of the internal and external policies of the state, creating a high-quality information product.

Other program features: The experimental nature of the educational program is implemented
through the use of modern information technologies and
systems for searching and analyzing information in the field of international relations, as well as the application of theoretical and applied models both for the study of actual problems of international communications and strengthening positive image of Ukraine in the world.
