Characteristics of the educational program: The educational and professional program is based on public position and results of research in the area of «Applied Mathematics» and is focused on the ability to build and explore complex mathematical models (including specialized) in professional activity; ability to construct and use modern computational methods for study of such models; creation and use of modern software products that are used for collecting and processing information, including the presence of uncertainty.
Програмні результати навчання: 1. Knowledge of principles, mathematical models and tools for analytical research of real systems and processes, their formal description and construction of mathematical and program models and methods of statistical modelling and forecasting.
2. Knowledge of modern design technologies and methods for developing software and applications for different subject areas.
3. Knowledge of database theory.
4. Knowledge of internet technologies and methods for internet servers’ administration, construction and supporting information internet hub and interactive web pages.
5. Knowledge of mathematical and programming principles and methods of computer graphics and multimedia technologies.
6. Construction of effective mathematical models of real processes and systems in the form of integral-differential equations’ systems, computational algorithms for calculated problems.
7. Analytical investigation of mathematical models on existence and uniqueness of solution.
8. Ability to choose rational and effective algorithms for solving mathematical problems on optimization and optimal control.
9. Ability to design software and applications for different subject areas.
10. Ability to design internet resources.
11. Ability to design information systems, databases and management systems.
12. Ability to use and apply profession-core knowledge and practical skills in fundamental subjects for the problem formalization, mathematical model development and solving the qualitative and quantitative problems.
13. Ability to develop object-oriented models of subject areas by means of object-oriented modelling languages.
14. By using modern technologies, to be able to develop program computer systems on the base of high-level programming languages that implement algorithms of applied problems’ solution.
15. Ability to design information systems, databases and control systems.
16. Ability to estimate, interpret and synthesize information and data.
17. Work effectively both individually and as a team member.
18. Ability to use modern multimedia technologies for visualization of obtained results.
