Програмні результати навчання: 1. Understand and apply the principles of systems analysis, cause-and-effect relationships between significant factors, and scientific and technical solutions in the context of existing theories.
2. Identify, formulate,e and solve materials science problems and tasks.
3. Communicate fluently in the state and English languages orally and in writing to discuss professional problems and results of activities in materials science and a wider range of engineering issues, and present research results and innovative ideas.
4. Apply modern information technologies and specialized software to solve complex problems in materials science.
5. Make effective decisions in new or unforeseen situations, considering their possible consequences, evaluate and compare alternatives, and assess technical, economic, environmental, and legal risks.
6. Apply scientific skills in the field of engineering to successfully conduct scientific research both under supervision and independently.
7. Develop and implement ideas in the field of materials science and interdisciplinary areas related to materials science, determine goals and necessary resources, plan work, organize the work of a team of performers, and protect intellectual property.
8. Be able to apply methods for protecting intellectual property objects created in the course of professional (scientific and technical) activities.
9. Apply methods of LCA analysis, eco-audit, and sustainable development approaches when developing new materials and implementing new technologies.
10. Apply skills in presenting scientific material and arguments to a well-informed audience.
11. Use modern methods to identify, formulate, and solve inventive problems in the field of materials science.
12. Formulate and solve scientific and technical problems for the development, manufacture, testing, certification, utilization of materials, creation, and application of effective technologies for manufacturing products.
13. Plan and carry out experimental materials research, select appropriate equipment and methods, carry out statistical processing and statistical analysis of experimental results, and substantiate conclusions.
14. Reasonably assign and control quality indicators of materials and products.
15. Design new materials, develop, research, and use physical and mathematical models of materials and processes.
16. Ability to effectively use theoretical concepts of management and business administration in practice.
17. Solve applied problems of manufacturing, processing, operation, and utilization of materials and products.
18. Collect the necessary information using scientific and technical literature, databases, and other sources, and analyze and evaluate them.
19. Develop a comprehensive design of new materials and products based on them, taking into account operational properties and conditions of use.
