Summary of the subject: The training course provides graduate students with the acquisition of professional competencies as an integrative quality of a broad-spectrum researcher. The problems of geology and soil science are important components of the course, which provides the opportunity for future specialists to conduct research on monuments of different cultural periods and archaeological objects of various functional purposes. Today's scientific and technical achievements make it possible to significantly improve the methodology of field and chamber research in field archeology, which has developed over the last hundred years of the development of science. Trained specialists have the opportunity to acquire the skills needed in the future when working with museum objects.
