• knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity
• ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources;
• ability to use the achievements and methods of natural sciences in solving professional problems;
• skills in the use of information and communication technologies;
• possession of fixed assets, methods and methods of obtaining, storing, processing information.
professional:
• ability to analyze and systematize the collected information, diagnose the state of preservation of the material structure of the work of art, to formulate the ultimate goal of the restoration intervention;
• ability to conduct modern art history research using information and communication technologies.
• the ability to determine the amount of work required for the restoration of works of art made of stone and to determine the time frame for this work;
• ability to apply basic knowledge in the field of art and restoration for diagnostics with the use of technical digital and computer means of elements of architectural monuments and architectural decor and details;
• apply the studied research methods to the study and restoration of architectural monuments and architectural details made of natural and artificial stone, in practice as part of the restoration of research and design documentation.
Required prior and related subjects: Prequisite: Historical techniques and technologies of stone processing, Fundamentals of design and restoration, Restoration project, Fundamentals of archeology, Diagnosis and research of stone art, Computer technology in the diagnosis and restoration of stone
Co-requisite
Summary of the subject: Discipline "Computer technology in the diagnosis and restoration of stone" is based on the following sections: acquaintance with modern technical means of research and fixation of monuments, mastering the methods and sequence of research of the restoration object, preparation and introduction of specialized digital file software information, computer layout of the graphic part of the restoration project and the text of the restoration report, preparation of text and graphic documents for printing. The study of the discipline is a series of lectures and practical classes.
Practical tasks are performed in the classroom and are developed by the student using the available facilities of the department and specialized laboratories, as well as on the personal computer device (PC) of the student.
In the course of practical tasks, the objects selected according to the task are measured using traditional (ruler, tape measure, etc.) tools and modern technical means (digital camera, laser tape measure, laser level). Drawings are made on the environment of the program AutoCAD (student version). The work is executed according to the established sample, submitted in printed form (A4 format) and in digital form.
Assessment methods and criteria: Attendance at lectures - 15 points
Attending practical classes and performing practical tasks - 15 points
Exam
Written - 55 points
Oral - 15 points
The total number of points is 100 points
