Summary of the subject: The content of the discipline "Architectural design of an office building with underground parking", which is offered to the attention of students and teachers of higher educational institutions of III and IV levels of accreditation of the basic directions "Architecture and urban planning", allows you to easily master the material of laboratory classes. Acquaintance with the design standards of public buildings in the established urban environment. The work involves: urban planning and natural analysis of the site; work on the master plan; highlighting the peculiarities of drawing up a functional scheme of a public building, taking into account the existing urban planning structure of the quarter; solution of the volume-planning structure of the building; development of exterior features in different stylistic directions. Mastering the basic principles of graphic presentation of an architectural project of an office building by the student.

Definition of the plot, analysis of the territory of the plot and establishment of factors that will influence the design
A sketch is a concept that defines the key urban planning, volume-spatial and functional-planning and architectural-composition solutions of the designed building. Determining the features of parking and communications within the building.
Resolution of the scheme of functional zoning of the territory allocated for the building. It is necessary to show the purpose of individual territories surrounding the design plot and to indicate the functions of the buildings located there.
Work on the general plan of the site. Building placement in red and blue lines. the location of entrances and approaches to the building and the location of the parking lot.
Determination of building restrictions and establishment of features of entrances to the building, entrance to the parking lot. Decide on a scheme of pedestrian and transport connections where to mark all existing roads, tram and railway tracks, bicycle and pedestrian paths adjacent to the design territory.
Identification of the territorial-functional and visual-compositional concept of the object; streamlining the connections between the parking lot and the existing transport network, as well as between the parking lot and the main vertical and horizontal communications of the office building.
The solution of the spatial-functional concept, taking into account the typological requirements, established by the particularity of the environment and modern ideas about the functioning of the office space.
Solving the concept of the functioning of the working space, as well as its connection with auxiliary spaces and spaces for communication, recreation, etc.

Planning of work space for group and individual work in the office building
Work on vertical communications and engineering and technical aspects of the building. Detailing of vertical communications, determination of structural features of the building. Determination of technological features of the building.
Features of interior design of office premises. Development directions of the main conceptual schemes of interior solutions. Selection of furniture, arrangement of interior elements of premises.
Execution and detailing of planning decisions. Execution of detailing of the intersections of the building. Work on the exterior taking into account the completeness of the external context. Searching for spectacular viewpoints, perspectives and perspectives. Layout of drawings of the designed office building. Solving the angles of presentation of the exteriors of the building.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: checking of individual tasks. Conducting closures in laboratory classes. Checking knowledge of DBN regarding this object during independent work.
Final control: evaluation of the course project, differentiated credit (summary of current control evaluations, RGR)

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
