Summary of the subject: The main goal of the course is to acquaint students with the general norms, principles and trends in interior design, to teach students to create functional and aesthetic interiors of spaces, through the study of all stages of this process, such as functional zoning, creating a spatial composition, choosing a stylistic solution, materials . and lighting design, etc. During the study of this discipline, the student can realize his own ideas and create a full-fledged interior project that has his understanding and skills for further work in this field. this program provides open lectures with leading architectural studios, familiarization with the process of implementing an interior project through visits to objects at the stage of implementation, which complements the theoretical part of the course with practical knowledge and experience. The theoretical part of the course consists of two topics: Topic 1. Design of residential interiors. Analysis of world experience in interior design, overview of different styles and trends, separation of the complex of factors that shape the interior. Functional and aesthetic requirements for zoning and furnishing of living spaces: living room, salon, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, children's room, office, entrance areas, wardrobes. Topic 2. Design of public interiors. Functional and aesthetic requirements for zoning public interiors. Principles of volumetric and spatial solutions for retail establishments, office premises, color solutions, selection of finishing materials and furniture. Development of design drawings of interiors of public premises of a given type. The acquired theoretical basis can be immediately obtained by the student when designing a residential interior; the project consists of the following stages: housing planning, development of the interior concept and stylistic solution of housing, creation of 3D visualization and preparation of a basic set of drawings. Also, during the course project, students use different techniques to demonstrate your idea, such as collage and hand-drawn graphics. The discipline develops the student's creativity, his analytical thinking, prepares a specialist in the field of design. in particular, it strengthens knowledge with practical skills in the design of residential interiors and creates a solid base of knowledge and skills for further professional growth.

Summary of the subject: The purpose of the course project is to teach students to create functional, aesthetic and comfortable interiors of trade and business spaces that will meet the needs of their users. The training covers all stages of designing public spaces, from the analysis of functional requirements and planning, to the selection of a stylistic solution, finishing materials and lighting design. Special attention at the design stage is given to ergonomics and the concept of the interior, which is decisive from the point of view of competitiveness and identification of companies and brands on the market. Practical classes include visits to realized objects of leading studios and open lectures by designers who designed them. This will help the student to see the relationship between theoretical knowledge and practical skills, will provide an opportunity to learn from specialists in this field of design. The study of this discipline will allow students to realize their creative ideas by developing an interior project of a public space, which will include a planning solution, 3D visualization of both the entire interior and individual details, design objects and other interior elements, create technical drawings for your project. The discipline "Designing public interiors" develops students' creativity, expands the range of their knowledge in interior design, forms ergonomic skills, teaches to assess the situation and find optimal solutions.
