Learning outcomes: • the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the scientific and mathematical principles underlying the Earth sciences; • ability to demonstrate knowledge of the basics of professionally-oriented disciplines of the specialty in the field of Earth sciences; • ability to demonstrate basic knowledge in Earth sciences in relevant specializations;
Required prior and related subjects: Satellite Geodesy and Spherical Astronomy, Part 2, Fundamentals of space monitoring of the Earth, Space geodesy, Fundamentals of gravimetry.
Summary of the subject: The educational practice aims to expand and consolidate theoretical knowledge about gravimetric and GNSS measurements, geodetic monitoring of complex engineering objects, as well as the construction of point 3d models of engineering objects. The task of practice is to master each student's practical skills to perform these works. This program addresses the general issues of organization, conduct and summarizing the practice for students majoring in 103 Earth Sciences. The duration of the internship according to the curriculum is 180 hours or 4 weeks.
Assessment methods and criteria: • current control over the work performance; • oral individual, combined and face-to-face interviews at the beginning of each type of work; • testing and assessment of knowledge.
