Learning outcomes: 1. Be able to communicate with specialists and experts of different levels of other fields of knowledge, including in the international context, in the global information environment. 2. Independently plan the implementation of an innovative task and formulate conclusions based on its results. 3. Assess the environmental and economic impact on the environment during the implementation of engineering measures and design environmental measures. 4. To use the theoretical and practical achievements of humanities, natural and exact sciences if necessary to solve the set task or research. 5. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge in one of the areas of Earth sciences: geophysics, geodesy, cartography, geodynamics, meteorology. 6. Evaluate the obtained results and defend the decisions with arguments.
Required prior and related subjects: Practice on the Theme of Master Thesis; Master thesis preparation.
Summary of the subject: Justification of the relevance, aim and tasks of the master qualification work. The analysis of existing studies and theoretical foundations coverage of chosen theme. Technological scheme of research. Characteristics of data. Algorithms for solving problems. Evaluation of the results quality. Conclusions.
