Summary of the subject: The academic discipline "Informatics and Modern Information Technologies" is divided into the following sections: "Introduction to Informatics," "Applied PC Software," "Text Editor," "Spreadsheets," "Databases," "Presentations," and "Statistics."
Lectures are intended for presenting theoretical knowledge. It is recommended to conduct them in classrooms equipped with visual aids for lecture materials.
Laboratory sessions involve independent completion of comprehensive individual tasks by each student, focusing on educational, cognitive, or professional aspects. The aim is to systematize knowledge and continue developing relevant competencies for each student. To effectively grasp the main topics of the discipline, laboratory sessions are conducted in computer labs, using personal computers, local networks, and high-speed internet access.
