Мета вивчення дисципліни: consists in students acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to create favorable conditions for the full-fledged socialization of the individual, his social development, as well as overcoming the negative influence of the environment.
Завдання: To know the history of the development of social pedagogy in Ukraine and abroad; know the basic concepts, principles and regularities of social pedagogy; peculiarities of personality socialization in various social institutions.
Learning outcomes: To analyze socio-psychological processes in children and large groups.

Summary of the subject: In the process of studying the "Social Pedagogy" course, students master the conceptual and terminological apparatus of socio-pedagogical activity, the principles of work of a social pedagogue, learn the basic regularities of the process of socialization, resocialization, social education and adaptation; get acquainted with the peculiarities of the socialization of the individual in various social institutions (family, school, closed-type institution, etc.) and the influence on this process of religious values, moral norms, folk traditions, art, mass media, etc.
Опис: Theoretical and methodological foundations of social pedagogy, historical aspects of the formation of social pedagogy in Europe and North America, the system of institutions of social and pedagogical work in Ukraine, legal and ethical foundations of social and pedagogical work, separate issues of social pedagogy: andragogy and herogy, preventive pedagogy with elements of penitentiary pedagogy, victimology with the basics of guardianship pedagogy.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Currentcontrol: (40%): recitation, speechesduringpracticalclasses. • Finalcontrol: (60%): exam (tests).
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: report (quality of knowledge – its completeness, depth, flexibility, systematicity, strength; correct use of conceptual and terminological apparatus; speech culture (literacy, logic and sequence of presentation); level of meaningfulness of knowledge – the ability to formulate independent evaluative judgments and theoretical conclusions) - 3 points ; presentation (correspondence to the topic of the practical session; aesthetic design of the presentation; clear, concise report; ability to answer clarifying questions; references to sources) - 5 points. individual control task (structure; quality of information sources and their correspondence to the content of the work; level of independence and depth of meaningfulness; level of familiarity with theoretical material, terminology and concepts; ability to analyze, compare, classify and summarize material; aesthetic design of the presentation; clear, concise report; ability to answer clarifying questions) 10 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
