Мета вивчення дисципліни: - students' study and understanding of approaches to the concept of "social policy"; - acquisition of skills for the practical application of legislation within the framework of the social policy of the state and the policy of social security; - studying the regulatory and stimulating role in ensuring the dynamic development of the national economy of the state and creating an opportunity for the effective functioning of the social protection system.
Завдання: ZK1 The ability to realize one's rights and responsibilities as a member of society, to realize the values ??of a civil (free democratic) society and the need for its sustainable development, the rule of law, the rights and freedoms of a person and a citizen in Ukraine. ZK5. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. ZK8. Skills in using information and communication technologies. ZK9. Ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources. ZK13. Ability to interpersonal interaction SK1. The ability to analyze social processes is related to the social development of the state.
Learning outcomes: • Use methods to prevent possible mental disorders, behavioral disorders, interpersonal relationships, conflict resolution, prevention of social risks and difficult life circumstances; • Establish and maintain relationships with clients on the basis of mutual trust and in accordance with ethical principles and standards of social work, provide them with psychological support and encourage clients; • Identify strengths and involve personal resources of clients, resources of social groups and communities to solve their problems, get out of difficult life circumstances; • Identify ethical dilemmas and inconsistencies in professional activities and use means of supervision to resolve them; • Demonstrate the ability to creatively solve problems and make innovative decisions, think and apply creative abilities to form fundamentally new ideas.
Required prior and related subjects: • Prerequisite: Legal regulation of social security. • Co-requisites: Social audit and inspection in the social services system.

State social standards and social services. Initial concepts of the social protection system as an element of the social security policy. State trust funds. State service bodies in the system of social protection of the population.
Assessment methods and criteria: • presentation, written reports on practical works, oral questioning (40%) • final control (control measure - exam): written and oral form (60%)
