Мета вивчення дисципліни: Mastering by students of modern methods and forms of professional activity of employees of social organizations, formation of future specialists, based on the knowledge, practical techniques and skills of relevant professional activity obtained at a higher educational institution.
Завдання: The training of specialists capable of solving complex specialized tasks and applied problems of social work or that involves the application of certain theories and methods and is characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions. The study of the academic discipline involves the formation of the following competencies in the student: General competences: ZK4. Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. ZK5. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. Professional competences: FC9. Ability to assess social problems, needs, features and resources of clients.; FC15. Ability to interact with clients, representatives of various professional groups and communities FC16. Ability to adhere to ethical principles and standards of social work
Learning outcomes: •Ability to develop and implementre habilitation programs for social work for clients with addiction; •Develop and implementre habilitation programs of social work for clients with addiction

Summary of the subject: The exposition of theoretical and practical problems of the discipline of the course "Social work with addictions" involves an analysis of the interdisciplinary field of knowledge, a synthesis of existing approaches, concepts and theories. Theories, models, etiology and clinic of addictions. Definition and epidemiology of addiction to psychoactive substances. Social theories and models of addiction. Roles that a social worker can play in working with clients who are addicted to psychoactive substances. Psychological mechanisms of addiction. Counseling clients with addiction to psychoactive substances. Models of work with clients addicted to psychoactive substances. Prevention and education in the field of work with addiction to psychoactive substances. Social policy in the field of alcoholism and drug addiction problems and its connection with social work.
Опис: Theories, models, etiology and clinic of addictions. Definition and epidemiology of addiction to psychoactives ubstances. Social theories and models of dependence. Roles that a social worker can play in working with substance-dependent clients. Psychological mechanisms of dependence. Counseling clients with addiction to psychoactive substances. Models of work with clients addicted to psychoactives ubstances. Prevention and education in the field of work with addiction to psychoactive substances. Social policy in the field of alcoholism and drug addiction and its connection with social work.
Assessment methods and criteria: Report 4 - quality of knowledge - its completeness, depth, flexibility, systematicity, strength; - correct use of conceptual and terminological apparatus; - speech culture (literacy, logic and sequence of presentation); - the level of meaningfulness of knowledge - the ability to formulate independent evaluation judgments and theoretical conclusions. Addendum 1 is a scientifically based statement that reveals the essence of phenomena, processes, and regularities. Performing interactive exercises or case analysis 4 – the sequence of solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case; – approaches to solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case study; – the quality of solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case; - disclosure of cause-and-effect relationships between phenomena and processes during the solution of the situation proposed in the exercise or case. Group presentation of a social project for the community 20 - the participation and role of each student in a joint presentation; – quality of task performance (project structure; correctness of planned actions; realistic implementation); - the level of familiarity with the actual material, terminology, concepts and tools of the DSU and RSU).
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
