Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying an academic discipline is - acquisition and implementation of the competences declared for this discipline; - students mastered the most important provisions and theoretical schemes of the course "Methodology of Discursive Analysis"; - familiarization with the features of discursive analysis in sociology; - formation of skills in the implementation of the main types of discursive analysis; - formation of skills in the use of discourse-analytical research in making managerial decisions.
Завдання: The study of an academic discipline involves the formation of the necessary competencies in students: General competences: ZK01. Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis. Professional competences: CK03. Ability to design and perform sociological research, develop and substantiate their methodology. FCS 1.1. Ability to apply basic skills of discourse-analytical procedures on examples of texts of various genres and topics.
Learning outcomes: ПР01. Analyze social phenomena and processes using empirical data and modern concepts and theories of sociology. ПР 02. Diagnose and interpret social problems of Ukrainian society and the world community, their causes and consequences. ПР 03. Develop and implement social and interdisciplinary projects taking into account social, economic, legal, environmental and other aspects of public life. ПР 04. Apply scientific knowledge, sociological and statistical methods, digital technologies, specialized software to solve complex problems of sociology and related fields of knowledge. ПР 05. Search, analyze and evaluate the necessary information in scientific literature, data banks and other sources. ПР 07. To solve ethical dilemmas in accordance with the norms of professional ethics of a sociologist and universal human values. ПР 08. It is clear and unambiguous to convey knowledge, own conclusions and arguments on issues of sociology and related fields of knowledge to specialists and non-specialists, in particular to persons who are studying. ПР 09. Plan and carry out scientific research in the field of sociology, analyze the results, justify the conclusions. Summary of the subject: The course "Methodology of discursive analysis" provides students with the assimilation of the most important provisions and theoretical schemes of the discourse-analytical component of sociological research. The study of the course involves the student's work in lectures, practical classes, study of the recommended literature. When studying theoretical provisions, interactive forms of teaching should dominate. As a result, students should learn the basics of the methodology and methodology of discourse-analytical research.
Опис: Theoretical and methodological foundations of discourse analysis in sociology. Discourse theories of Laclau and Mouffe. Critical discourse analysis. Discursive psychology. Discourse as structure and practice. Critical social constructivist research.
Assessment methods and criteria: Evaluation of students of the discipline "Methodology of discursive analysis" is carried out with the help of means of objective control of the degree of achievement of learning outcomes. The evaluation is carried out on the basis of the assessment of the level of competences achieved and the results of the master's study in the specialty "Sociology", using the methods of complex diagnostics: the semester control (SC) of the knowledge of the students is carried out based on the total number of points obtained according to the results of the current control (СC), and the performance of the control measure (KM). The information base, on the basis of which the means of objective control of the degree of achievement of learning results are formed, is its subject matter, tasks for practical and individual works, a list of literature and methodical recommendations. Assessment of the level of achievement of learning outcomes is carried out after the students complete the work program in its entirety.
