Summary of the subject: In the course "Modeling of energy- and resource-saving processes in chemical technology" the main approaches to physical, mathematical and computer modeling of energy- and resource-saving processes of chemical technology are studied, the application of exergetic analysis as a method of thermodynamic analysis of installations and chemical-technological systems, adoption of technical solutions for reducing exergy losses.
Опис: Chemical-technological process and chemical-technological system. Process and system energy flow. Model and object of research. Physical, mathematical and computer modeling of processes and their optimization using specialized computer programs. Perfection of existing, designed, or modeled chemical-technological systems or processes. Increasing the efficiency of the use of waste and secondary raw materials. Energy-efficient technologies at chemical industry enterprises. Exergetic balances. Exergetic analysis as a method of thermodynamic analysis of installations and chemical-technological systems. Exergetic energy efficiency criteria of basic chemical-technological processes and systems. Physical and numerical modeling of heat flows, and exergy transformations. Determination of the efficiency of individual system elements and the system as a whole. Computer modeling of heat exchange processes and exergetic analysis. Steam installations. Carnot and Rankine cycles. Exergetic analysis of a vapor compression refrigeration unit based on simulated processes. The main technical solutions for reducing exergy losses.
