Summary of the subject: Within the educational discipline, the main materials for understanding and analyzing the set of physical and chemical processes, fuel combustion processes, heat exchange and aerodynamic conditions that occur in special thermal installations during the production of chemical and silicate materials are considered. The methods of thermal engineering calculation of heating plants and the basics of their design, substantiation and regulation of the thermal regimes of furnaces, understanding of the role of the design of heating plants and their nodes in the most effective implementation of technological tasks, the selection of the main and completing equipment of heating plants, analysis and evaluation of their operational indicators are mastered.
Опис: The totality of physical and chemical processes.
The fuel combustion processes.
The processes of heat exchange and aerodynamic conditions that occur in special thermal installations during the production of chemical and silicate materials.
The methods of thermal engineering calculation of thermal installations.
The Justification of the choice and adjustment of the thermal regimes of the furnaces.
The role of the design of thermal installations and their units in the most effective implementation of technological tasks.
The selection of the main and completing equipment of thermal installations.
The analysis and evaluation of operational indicators of the main and completing equipment of thermal installations.
Assessment methods and criteria: The main methods of knowledge diagnosis are: current (PC) and semester control (SC), which is carried out from educational material, the scope of which is determined by the work program of the discipline for the semester.
Current control is carried out during lectures and laboratory classes in order to check the level of assimilation of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills of the student. PC is conducted in the form of: written and oral control and defense of laboratory work.
Semester control is conducted in the form of an exam (EC). The exam is a form of SC of the results of the student's studies in the academic discipline for the semester.
