The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education:
general competencies:
1. ZK6: Ability to learn and master modern knowledge.
2. ZK 10: Potential for further education.
professional competences: 1. Ability to use thorough knowledge of general, inorganic, organic, analytical and physico-colloidal chemistry, chemical and physico-chemical methods of analysis of the composition of substances to the extent necessary for mastering professional disciplines.
Learning outcomes: Learning outcomes according to the educational program
As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes:
1. Know the basic principles of modern classification and nomenclature of organic compounds.
2. Basics of theories of chemical structure, reactivity and course of chemical reactions of organic compounds
3. To know the main classes of organic synthetic and natural compounds, the peculiarities of their chemical structure and its influence on chemical properties, in particular those used in pharmacy.
4. Know the main methods of obtaining organic compounds, in particular those used in pharmacy or used for the synthesis of medicinal substances.
5. Know the basic methods of isolation, purification and identification of organic compounds.
6. Know the structure and chemical properties of those classes of organic compounds that are studied in further special courses "Methods of Organic Synthesis", "Biological Chemistry and Molecular Biology", "Pharmaceutical Chemistry", "Chemistry and Technology of Medicinal Substances".
As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes:
PH1 Knowledge of general and inorganic, organic, physical and colloidal, chemical and physico-chemical methods of analysis of the composition of substances in the amount necessary for learning professional disciplines.
РН2 Basic knowledge in the field of natural sciences and engineering, necessary for mastering professionally oriented disciplines.
PH3 Ability to work with literary sources and information resources.
RN4 The ability to communicate, including oral communication and communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages

Summary of the subject: Abstract of the academic discipline
The course "Chemistry 2 (organic chemistry)" is devoted to the study of the basics of the modern theory of the chemical structure of organic substances, the connection of the chemical structure with the reactivity and properties of substances, the study of the mechanisms of the transformation of organic substances and the peculiarities of the course of the most important reactions, the study of the basic principles of the modern classification and nomenclature of organic compounds, as well as production methods, chemical properties and use of the main classes of organic substances, in particular, those that make up the basis of most pharmaceutical preparations.
Опис: The curriculum of the discipline "Chemistry 2 (organic chemistry) is taught to students majoring in 226" Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy "field of knowledge 22" Health ". The curriculum defines the purpose and objectives of the discipline, lists the required previous and related and subsequent disciplines, annotation of the discipline, its description, describes methods of knowledge diagnostics and criteria for assessing student learning outcomes, lists of teaching aids and recommended literature, the e-mail address of electronic information resources is given.
The course "Chemistry 2 (organic chemistry)" is devoted to the study of the basics of modern theory of chemical structure of organic substances, the relationship of chemical structure with reactivity and properties of substances, the study of mechanisms of conversion of organic substances and the most important reactions, the study of basic principles compounds, as well as methods of production, chemical properties and use of the main classes of organic substances, in particular, those that form the basis of most pharmaceuticals.
The curriculum of the discipline "Chemistry 2 (organic chemistry)" contains the following sections:
Topic 1. Theoretical foundations of the structure and reactivity of organic compounds.
Topic 2. Aliphatic saturated hydrocarbons.
Topic 3. Aliphatic unsaturated hydrocarbons.
Topic 4. Halogenated aliphatic hydrocarbons.
Topic 5. Aliphatic alcohols, ethers, thiols.
Topic 6. Aliphatic aldehydes and ketones.
Topic 7. Aliphatic carboxylic acids and their derivatives.
Topic 8. Aliphatic nitrogen-containing compounds.
Topic 9. Organoelement compounds.
Topic 10. Compounds with mixed functions.
Topic 11. Alicyclic compounds.
Topic 12. Aromatic hydrocarbons of benzene series, their halogenated, nitro-, sulfo-derived, amines, nitrogen and diazo compounds.
Topic 13. Aromatic oxygen-containing compounds.
Topic 14. Multinuclear aromatic compounds.
Topic 14. Multinuclear aromatic compounds.
Topic 14. The concept of alkaloids. The concept of terpenes, terpenoids, steroids. The concept of nucleic acids.

88-100 points "excellent";
87-71 points - "good";
70-50 points - "satisfactory";
26-49 points - "unsatisfactory";
0-25 points - "Not certified".
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical principles when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical principles when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical principles when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical principles when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
