Summary of the subject: Abstract of the academic discipline
The study course "Economics and entrepreneurship" examines the objective foundations of the formation and development of entrepreneurial activity. The most important steps of a future entrepreneur are explained in a logical sequence - from the emergence and generation of an entrepreneurial idea to the formation of a stable, prosperous business. The material is adapted to the economic conditions of modern Ukraine. Discipline will really help novice entrepreneurs master the secrets of modern entrepreneurship, find their way to success, and run their own business with interest and confidence.
The discipline studies the objective foundations of the emergence and development of entrepreneurship, explains the content of commodity production and the conditions that contribute to the formation of business relations. Reveals a modern understanding of entrepreneurship and the principles of organizing this type of activity. The aim of the course is to gain knowledge about the factors of economic success, sources of entrepreneurial risks, and the main factors of competitiveness.
The course program provides for students to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills both in the field of entrepreneurship, current legislation and technical-economic and socio-economic evaluation of project solutions.
The goal of the discipline is the formation of a system of basic knowledge about entrepreneurial activity; understanding of the conceptual foundations of the functioning of enterprises of various forms of ownership; acquiring the ability to substantiate the creation of one's own business; the ability to calculate technical and economic indicators of the enterprise; conducting a primary analysis of the enterprise's economic activity; formation of students' holistic vision of the problems of entrepreneurial activity; arming students with skills and abilities necessary for organizing their own business, creative search for ways that lead to the most effective use of material, labor and financial resources in the field of sociology.
The task of studying the discipline consists in studying the social and economic essence of the concept of entrepreneurship; study of methods and ways of entrepreneurial activity; understanding of economic laws and basic market concepts; understanding of financial, banking, tax and other economic structures. As a result of studying the discipline, the specialist should
know:
? general theoretical principles of entrepreneurship;
? current state of entrepreneurship development and its problems;
? categories of entrepreneurial activity;
? procedure for creation and liquidation of enterprises of various forms of ownership;
? fundamentals of contractual relations, licensing and patenting of enterprise activities;
? ways of using various sources of enterprise financing;
? basic provisions of the economic policy of the state at the current stage;
? economic foundations of labor organization.

Topic 7. Advertising in business activities. The essence of marketing as a business philosophy, sphere of activity, management functions. The importance of advertising in business. The relationship between the development of entrepreneurial activity and the advertising company of the enterprise.

Assessment methods and criteria: Methods of knowledge diagnosis
The methods of knowledge diagnosis are the methods of monitoring the results of student learning in the process of current and semester monitoring.
In the process of current control, the methods of knowledge diagnosis are: assessment of student performances and their activity during business and simulation games in lecture classes, checking of independence in the performance of control work, oral survey on the subject of mastering the material, checking
control works, discussion and verification of solved problems, calculations made when performing tasks assigned for independent processing.
In the process of semester control, the methods of knowledge diagnosis are the performance of credit control work.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49–26 points – (“not certified” with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is given for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
