Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the academic discipline is to study the concepts, operation principles and data transfer technologie of Next Generation Networks.
Завдання: The study of an academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: general: • the ability to learn, to perceive knowledge in the subject area and to integrate it with existing knowledge; • the ability to produce new ideas, to show creativity, the ability to system thinking; • acquisition of a flexible way of thinking, which makes it possible to understand and solve problems and tasks, while maintaining a critical attitude to established scientific concepts; • knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of the profession; professional: • the ability to use theoretical and applied knowledge in the field of computer science and information technologies for the development of intelligent information components and the synthesis of information management systems based on them. • the ability to analyze problems and tasks in the field of information management systems and technologies, carry out their decomposition, formulate requirements, choose and develop effective methods of solving problems. • the ability to create information management systems and technologies taking into account all aspects of the task, including creation, promotion, implementation and improvement. • the ability to use and implement new technologies when creating and modernizing information management systems, in particular with the aim of increasing their competitiveness.
Learning outcomes: - know the next generation networks, methods of ensuring quality of service, data transportation technologies, the requirements of the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for data protection; - be able to implement next generation networks in the development of information control systems and technologies.

RSVP Resource Reservation Protocol. Streaming protocols. Congestion management. QoS standards in IP networks. Differentiated service DiffServ. Quic UDP Internet connections QUIC. Assessment methods and criteria: - Current control (35%): control work, Internet review on NGN topics. - Final control (65%) exam.
