Завдання: The main tasks of research practice are:
- acquisition of research skills in the performance of design work on design, programming and organization of production of computer systems and networks and system programming;
- studying the processes of technological preparation of production, as well as the technology of production of computer systems and networks and system programming;
- familiarization with modern achievements and prospects for the development of science and technology in the field of computer systems and networks;
- acquisition of skills in programming, debugging of computer systems and networks and system programming and their operation;
- consolidation and assimilation of the skills of scientific and research work, planning and conducting an experiment.
Learning outcomes: As a result of research practice student must:
determine the issue of research methods and modeling techniques;
get basic quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the object.
Required prior and related subjects: Research and design of computer systems and networks;
Areas of research and development of computer systems and networks.
Summary of the subject: Issue research. Definition of research priorities of the problem. Form a block diagram of relationships between factors that influence the development and formations of the object. Based on system analysis and disciplines that were studied in undergraduate and graduate to form previous model of the phenomenon or process.
Опис: Research practice is one of the stages of training young specialists and is organically connected with the previous and subsequent stages of study at the university.
The nature of the student-intern's work during practice should, as far as possible, correspond to the work he will perform after graduating from the university (research work in a laboratory, work of a designer, technologist, programmer, etc.).
During practice, special attention should be paid to studying and observing the rules of labor protection and fire safety. Each student must undergo briefing (initial and at each specific workplace), which must be documented. Students should familiarize themselves with working conditions in the main production units, organizational and technical measures related to labor protection. Special attention should be paid to issues of labor protection when working with electrical installations, fire safety. It is also necessary to get acquainted with the state of environmental protection, in particular, with the problems of air and water pollution by enterprise waste, methods of air and water purification, multiple use of water for industrial needs, legal aspects of nature protection.

Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Practice control is carried out by the enterprise and the university. Control from the production side is carried out as administrative and production control of the employee, as well as as a student-intern, who, in addition to the production functions performed by him, must perform the tasks provided for by the internship program. This control is carried out by the practice manager from the enterprise, who systematically checks the student's performance of production and educational tasks, gives him appropriate instructions and makes comments. In case of violations committed by the student during practice, the manager from the enterprise reports this to the university.
The supervision of practice by the university is carried out by a teacher of the department appointed by the head of practice, who periodically visits enterprises and checks the performance of production and educational tasks by each student.
During the visit of the enterprise by the supervisor from the university, the student reports orally on the performance of the tasks assigned to him. In case of violations, the student gives a written explanation at the supervisor's request.
