Мета вивчення дисципліни: A bachelor's thesis is an independent scientific research work prepared for the purpose of public defense and demonstration of the level of scientific qualification, the ability to independently conduct scientific research, to solve specific scientific tasks.
Завдання: general competences: 3. Ability to learn and master modern knowledge. 4. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. 5. Ability to work in an international context. 6. Ability to generate new ideas (creativity). 8. Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis. 9. Ability to use information and communication technologies. 10. Ability to communicate in the national language both orally and in writing. 11. Ability to communicate in a foreign language. 12. Ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources. 13. The ability to be critical and self-critical. professional competences: 1. The ability to distinguish signs and trends of development, to understand the nature, dynamics, principles of organization of international relations, public communications and/or regional studies. 2. Ability to analyze international processes in various contexts, including political, security, legal, economic, social, cultural and informational. 3. The ability to assess the state and directions of research in international relations and world politics in political, economic, legal sciences, in interdisciplinary studies. 4. The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of international relations, foreign policy of states, public communications, regional studies. 5. The ability to analyze the influence of the world economy, international law and domestic politics on the structure and dynamics of international relations and the foreign policy of states. 7. The ability to analyze international integration processes in the world and on the European continent, and the place of Ukraine in them. 9. The ability to apply knowledge of the characteristics of the development of countries and regions, features and regularities of global processes and the place of individual states in them to solve complex specialized tasks and problems. 10. The ability to analyze the structure and dynamics of international public communications, to identify their impact on the international system, state and public institutions. 11. The ability to analyze the nature and evolution of international organizations, their place in the system of international relations, the main forms and prospects of Ukraine's cooperation with them. 13. Ability to analyze the activities of international non-state actors and transnational relations. 14. The ability to apply modern technologies of search, processing and presentation of information for the analysis of processes in the international arena. 16. The ability to choose and use methods of managing information flows in international relations and public communications. 17. Ability to use information and communication systems and technologies in professional activities. 18. Understanding information and communication processes in national, regional and global dimensions.
Learning outcomes: 04. To know the principles, mechanisms and processes of ensuring the foreign policy of states, the interaction between foreign and domestic policies, the definition and implementation of the national interests of states on the international arena, the process of forming and implementing foreign policy decisions. 07. To carry out a description and analysis of the international situation, to collect from various sources the necessary information about international and foreign political events and processes. 10. Communicate freely in national and foreign languages at a professional level necessary for professional discussion, preparation of analytical and research documents. 11. Carry out an applied analysis of international relations, foreign policy of Ukraine and other states, international processes and the international situation in accordance with the set goals, prepare informational and analytical materials. 14. Use modern digital technologies, specialized software, databases and information systems to solve complex specialized problems in the field of international relations, public communications and/or regional studies. 15. Understand and apply current legislation, international regulatory documents and agreements, reference materials, current standards and technical conditions, etc., to solve complex specialized problems of international relations, public communications and regional studies. 18. Know modern technologies used for searching, analyzing, processing and presenting information in the field of international relations, primarily Big Data technologies. 19. Choose and use methods of managing international information flows, in particular for the purposes of national branding and territory branding. 20. Apply information and communication technologies and understand their features in a global dimension.

Summary of the subject: A bachelor's thesis must solve a complex task or problem in the field of international relations, foreign policy, public communications and regional studies, which involves research and / or innovation and is characterized by uncertain conditions and requirements. Qualification work should not contain academic plagiarism, falsification and fabrication of results. Qualification work should be posted on the website of the higher education institution or its structural unit, or in the repository of the higher education institution. Publication of qualification works containing information with limited access should be carried out in accordance with the requirements of current legislation.
Опис: The qualification work is designed to demonstrate how the student knows the methods of researching international relations, public communications and regional studies, international information; his ability to conduct information and analytical research (in particular, using information technologies and systems); analyze international information of social systems, international systems and global development, problems of the information society; carry out mathematical modeling of situations of international relations; apply the experience of information wars and psychological operations in international relations, carry out exploratory and normative forecasting, generalize and formulate conclusions from research results, work independently with sources of information, use modern software tools and foreign languages.
Assessment methods and criteria: Certification is carried out in the form of public defense qualification work. Evaluation is carried out in points: 94 points - "excellent" 80 points - "good" 60 points - "satisfactory"
