Мета вивчення дисципліни: The method of the course is the study by students of the main methods and technologies of restoration of parts of the oil and gas complex, which are used in the construction of pipelines and in their operation.
Завдання: The ability to solve complex specialized tasks in professional activities related to the oil and gas industry (INT). Ability to work in a team (ZK7). Ability to perform safe activities (ZK8). Ability to design and operate component systems and technologies of oil and gas industry enterprises (FK8). The ability to analyze the operating modes of an oil and gas facility, make the optimal choice of technological equipment, perform optimization of the operating mode according to certain criteria, including under conditions of uncertainty (FC10). The ability to operate and maintain technological equipment used in the construction, repair, reconstruction and restoration of oil and gas facilities, pipeline transport (FKP2.2). The ability and willingness to participate in the implementation of repair and restoration works, the development of new technological regimes during the construction, repair, reconstruction and restoration of oil and gas pipeline systems and complexes (FKP2.8).
Learning outcomes: Choose effective means of control and automation of technological processes in the oil and gas industry, taking into account the goals and existing limitations (RN15). Knowledge of methods of operational control over the technical condition of technological equipment used in construction, repair, reconstruction and restoration of equipment and elements of the pipeline complex (FRN2.5) Ability to communicate, including oral and written communication, in Ukrainian and one of the foreign languages (English, German, French) (KOM1); The ability to use a variety of methods, in particular, oil and gas technologies and engineering to communicate on a professional and social level (KOM2). Skills of verbal and written presentation of practical developments in the direction of oil and gas technologies and engineering (KOM3).

Summary of the subject: During the study of this educational discipline, the student acquires theoretical and practical knowledge on the restoration of machine parts of the oil and gas complex; gets acquainted with the main technologies of repair; studies the materials used for the restoration of machine parts of the oil and gas complex; acquires the ability to practically implement the acquired theoretical knowledge when choosing the technique and technology of steel welding during the repair of machine parts of the oil and gas complex.

Assessment methods and criteria: .Students' knowledge is assessed using the following methods: 1. The defense of practical works is conducted in oral form by surveying the theoretical material on the topic of the work and the method of conducting calculations. 2. Conducting the current express - control by means of a virtual learning environment or tests, oral survey, assessment of activity and submitted proposals. 3. Defense of laboratory work in oral form by surveying the theoretical material on the topic of the work and the method of its implementation.
