Мета вивчення дисципліни: Formation of knowledge necessary for the organization of transport and forwarding services for cargo transportation by various types of transport; understanding of the functioning of the cargo delivery system and the organization of the work of forwarding companies; acquisition of practical skills in the execution of forwarding orders.
Завдання: 1. Ability to organize and manage loading and unloading operations and warehouse operations on transport (PC2); 2. The ability to optimize logistics operations and coordinate orders for the transportation of goods from the manufacturer to the consumer, comply with laws, regulations and requirements of quality management systems (PC7). 3. Ability to design transport (transport-production, transport-warehousing) systems and their separate elements (PC8); 4. Ability to organize freight forwarding services (PC15).
Learning outcomes: PRS17 - Develop supply chains and evaluate their effectiveness. Establish links between different supply chains. Defining functions of logistic centers. Analyze the features of related information and financial flows; PRS22 - Organize international transportation. Apply methods of customs documentation. Use of customs control methods. PRS25 - Choose information systems for transportation. Operate automated control systems and navigation systems in the transportation process. Use of electronic maps.

Summary of the subject: During the study of this educational discipline, the student acquires theoretical and practical knowledge and skills regarding the basics of transport and forwarding work, methods of determining the cost of cargo delivery, transport conditions of sales contracts, etc. The technology of transport and forwarding work is considered in detail.
Опис: Introduction. Basic concepts of transport and forwarding activities. Peculiarities of the development of transport and forwarding services in Ukraine and abroad. Regulatory and legal aspects of transport forwarding. Incoterms - 2020. Basic concepts. State regulation of transport and forwarding activities. International associations of forwarders. Organization of transport and forwarding services. Transport and forwarding service of cargo preparation for transportation. Transport and forwarding service of cargo reception and transfer. Documentary support of the cargo transportation process. Transport and forwarding service of international road transportation. Peculiarities of transport and forwarding services for transit road transportation and the process of cargo delivery by various modes of transport. Technology of transport and forwarding services for the population.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49–26 points – (“not certified” with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is given for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
