FC16. The ability to take into account the human factor in transport technologies.
Learning outcomes: PRN15 Evaluate the parameters of traffic flows. Design schemes and networks of transport systems. Develop technologies for operational management of traffic flows;
PRN20. To study the components of ergonomics of transport technologies. Establish their efficiency and reliability;
PRN23 Recognize the qualitative and quantitative indicators of the operation of vehicles. Evaluate the design elements of vehicles. To establish a connection between the design elements of vehicles;
PRN25 Use methods of organizing transport and forwarding services of various types of communication;
PRN26 Investigate human factors issues related to transport and the implications of errors for safety and management. Identify patterns of human behavior in connection with errors.

Summary of the subject: During the study of this educational discipline, the student acquires theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the organization of shunting work at stations, the operation of railway stations, the organization of train traffic, drawing up a plan for the formation of trains in the conditions of ensuring the safety of traffic and the safety of cargo.

Service of intermediate stations by collective trains.
Organization of service of railway stations with outbound trains, dispatching and reserve locomotives.
Plan-schedule of local work and its indicators.
Classification of railway junctions. Principles of organizing the work of railway nodes.
General principles of the organization of train traffic on railways.
Car traffic routing.
Calculation of the plan for the formation of single-group trains for railway technical stations.
Group train formation plan. Indicators of the train formation plan
Assessment methods and criteria: 1. Protection of reports for practical work in written form by conducting a control event on the subject of the work in the form of a test.
2. Defense of reports for laboratory works in oral form by surveying the theoretical material on the topic of the work and research methodology.
