Мета вивчення дисципліни: Acquiring practical skills of creating mathematical models for studying the dependence between properties of an object. Using a PC to build mathematical models and analyze them.
Завдання: INT Ability to solve complex specialized problems and solve practical problems in the field of transport using theories and methods of modern transport science based on a systemic approach and taking into account the complexity and uncertainty of operating conditions transport systems. Learning outcomes: PRN6. Research transport processes, experiment, analyze and evaluate parameters of transport systems and technologies; PRN8. Develop, design, manage projects in the field of transport systems and technologies; PRN11. Classify and identify transport processes and systems. Evaluate parameters of transport systems. Execute system analysis and forecasting of the operation of transport systems; PRN12. Find solutions for rational methods of organization loading and unloading operations. Plan schedules carrying out loading and unloading operations. Choose mechanisms and means of loading and unloading works; PRN15. Evaluate the parameters of traffic flows. Design schemes and networks of transport systems. Develop technologies for operational management of traffic flows; PRN18. To study the types and types of transport systems. Find solutions for optimizing the parameters of transport systems. Assess the efficiency of the infrastructure and the technology of the functioning of transport systems; PRN20. To study the components of ergonomics of transport technologies. To establish their efficiency and reliability; PRN23. Summary of the subject: An important factor determining the role of applied mathematics methods in solving problems and tasks is that refers to transport systems and processes in them, it is possible to describe the most essential features and properties of the researched object in the language of mathematical symbols and ratios. Such a description is usually mathematical modeling or mathematical formalization.

Fundamentals of the theory of mathematical statistics and statistical methods of experimental database research;
Assessment methods and criteria: Students' knowledge is assessed using the following methods: 1. Defense of reports for practical works in oral form by surveying theoretical material on the topic of the work and research methodology. 2. Conducting a written exam based on the results of studying the discipline, which consists of three-level theoretical and practical tasks. 3. Conducting the oral component based on the results of the written exam, the questions of which are based on the content of practical tasks.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: - written reports on practical , 50 points - examination control: written component – 55 points; oral component – 5 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
