Learning outcomes: PRN5 – Apply, use modern information and communication technologies for solving practical problems in the organization of transport and design of transport technologies in railway transport. PRN17 – Develop supply chains and evaluate their effectiveness. Establish connections between different supply chains. Defining the functions of logistics centers. Analyze features of accompanying information and financial flows. PRN24 – Choose information systems for the organization of transportation. Operate automated control systems and navigation systems in the transportation process. Use electronic cards

Summary of the subject: During the study of this academic discipline, the student acquires theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in optimizing the operation of large transport facilities by structuring data and their further analysis. Mastering modern information systems will allow the student to apply his knowledge to automate calculations of large volumes of input data.

Assessment methods and criteria: Students' knowledge is assessed using the following methods: 1. Defense of reports for laboratory works in oral form by surveying the theoretical material on the topic of the work and research methodology. 2. Conducting a written exam based on the results of studying the discipline, which consists of three-level theoretical and practical tasks. 3. Conducting the oral component based on the results of the written exam, the questions of which are based on the content of practical tasks.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: - written reports on practical , 50 points - examination control: written component – 55 points; oral component – 5 points.
