LO 3 Apply automation systems for research, design and construction work, technological preparation and engineering analysis in mechanical engineering. RN 4 Use modern methods of optimizing the parameters of technical systems by means of system analysis, mathematical and computer modeling, in particular under conditions of incomplete and contradictory information. LO 5 Independently set and solve problems of an innovative nature, argue and defend the obtained results and decisions; LO 7 - Clearly and unambiguously present the results of research and projects, convey one's own conclusions, arguments and explanations in national and foreign languages orally and in writing to colleagues, students and representatives of other professional groups of various levels Kn1. Specialized conceptual knowledge that includes current scientific achievements in the field of professional activity or field of knowledge and is the basis for original thinking and conducting research, critical understanding of problems in the field and at the boundaries of fields of knowledge Sc1. Specialized skills/problem-solving skills required for conducting research and/or implementing innovative activities to develop new knowledge and procedures Sc2. Ability to integrate knowledge and solve complex problems in broad or multidisciplinary contexts Sc3. Ability to solve problems in new or unfamiliar environments in the presence of incomplete or limited information, taking into account aspects of social and ethical responsibility AaR1. Managing work or learning processes that are complex, unpredictable and require new strategic approaches AaR3. Ability to continue learning with a high degree of autonomy
Required prior and related subjects: - Surface engineering - Diagnostics of structures and buildings
Summary of the subject: During the study of this educational discipline, the student acquires theoretical and practical knowledge of technologies for welding non-ferrous and dissimilar metals and alloys, which are currently used in production and will be developed in the near future. Gains knowledge of technical and economic characteristics, areas of use of both technological processes and welding materials and equipment for their implementation.

Assessment methods and criteria: 1. Defense of reports for laboratory works in oral form by surveying the theoretical material on the topic of the work and research methodology. 2. Current express control by means of a virtual educational environment or oral survey, tests, assessment of activity and submitted proposals. 3. Conducting a written exam based on the results of studying the discipline, which consists of tasks of various levels of difficulty. 4. Conducting the oral component based on the results of the written exam.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control: 30 points Examination control: - written component: 60 points - oral component: 10 points
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49–26 points – (“not certified” with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is given for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
