Learning outcomes: Systematization of information about the peculiarities of the organization and conditions of tourism development in different regions and countries of the world, their evaluation and study in the training of specialists in tourism, the ability to use world experience in organizing tourism, the ability to solve specialized problems in international tourism.

Summary of the subject: Theoretical foundations of tourism geography. Geography of tourism in the world. Tourist regionalization of the modern world. Tourist resource potential of the world. Tourist infrastructure in countries of the world. Hazardous tourist countries and regions of the world.
Assessment methods and criteria: - The current control (40%) are workshops, oral interviews and test; - The final control (60%) is a exam.
