Завдання: The ability to use professional knowledge and practical skills to solve specific tasks in the field of oil and gas production, transportation and storage.
Learning outcomes: Program learning outcomes: Know the theories, principles, methods and concepts of oil and gas engineering, understand the current state and role of the oil and gas industry in ensuring the energy security of Ukraine. Analyze and develop elements of technological schemes and technical devices of well drilling, production, transportation and storage systems of oil and gas. Analyze geological processes, basic patterns of formation and properties of rocks, including oil and gas deposits. Apply modern digital technologies and specialized software to solve engineering and management problems related to the implementation of basic oil and gas technologies of well drilling, production, transportation and storage of oil and gas. Apply basic concepts and methods of fundamental and applied sciences to solve specialized problems in oil and gas engineering. Predict and analyze the physicochemical properties of oil and gas in the processes of their extraction, transportation and storage. Calculate the parameters of hydro-gas dynamic processes that accompany the movement of oil and gas and technological fluids in the formation/wells/industrial and main pipelines using the laws of thermodynamics, hydraulics and gas dynamics and modern methods of relevant calculations. Calculate the technological parameters of oil and gas wells, oil and gas preparation systems, industrial and main gas and oil pipelines, gas and oil storage facilities using relevant mathematical and engineering methods. Communicate information, ideas, problems, solutions, own experience and reasoning on oil and gas engineering and related issues to specialists and non-specialists.
Required prior and related subjects: Fundamentals of oil and gas engineering.

Summary of the subject: The course is devoted to the technological processes of oil and gas extraction and their primary preparation at the fields. The theoretical foundations and features of the technology of these processes are considered.
Опис: Geological basis of oil and gas occurrence in rocks. Properties of reservoirs and fluids. Formation opening and well development. Fluid inflow into the well. Operating modes of productive formations. Oil and gas wells and their elements. Physical processes occurring in the bottomhole zone of the well during the period of opening, inflow, development and operation Methods of oil well exploitation. Fountain exploitation of oil wells. Gas lift exploitation of oil wells. Operation of oil wells by pumping units. Methods of gas and gas condensate extraction. Intensification of oil and gas production. Methods of increasing oil and gas recovery from formations Features of unconventional oil extraction Features of offshore oil and gas production Gathering and preparation of oil in the field. Oil dehydration processes in the field. Oil stabilization. Technology of industrial gas and gas condensate preparation. Complex gas and gas condensate preparation plants.
Assessment methods and criteria: Laboratory work – defense in written and oral form.
Practical classes – checking the correctness of the decisions made.
Exam – written and oral form.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control – 30 points, including laboratory work – 15 points; practical classes – 15 points.
Examination control – 70 points, including written component – 60 points; oral component – 10 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - certified with an “excellent” grade - High level: the student demonstrates an in-depth mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, systematic knowledge, skills and abilities of their practical application. The mastered knowledge, skills and abilities provide the ability to independently formulate goals and organize learning activities, search and find solutions in non-standard, atypical educational and professional situations. The applicant demonstrates the ability to make generalizations based on critical analysis of factual material, ideas, theories and concepts, to formulate conclusions based on them. His/her activity is based on interest and motivation for self-development, continuous professional development, independent research activities, implemented with the support and guidance of the teacher. 87-71 points - certified with a grade of “good” - Sufficient level: involves mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at an advanced level, conscious use of knowledge, skills and abilities to reveal the essence of the issue. Possession of a partially structured set of knowledge provides the ability to apply it in familiar educational and professional situations. Aware of the specifics of tasks and learning situations, the student demonstrates the ability to search for and choose their solution according to the given sample, to argue for the use of a particular method of solving the problem. Their activities are based on interest and motivation for self-development and continuous professional development. 70-50 points - certified with a grade of “satisfactory” - Satisfactory level: outlines the mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at the average level, partial awareness of educational and professional tasks, problems and situations, knowledge of ways to solve typical problems and tasks. The applicant demonstrates an average level of skills and abilities to apply knowledge in practice, and solving problems requires assistance, support from a model. The basis of learning activities is situational and heuristic, dominated by motives of duty, unconscious use of opportunities for self-development. 49-00 points - certified with a grade of “unsatisfactory” - Unsatisfactory level: indicates an elementary mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, a general understanding of the content of the educational material, partial use of knowledge, skills and abilities. The basis of learning activities is situational and pragmatic interest.
