Required prior and related subjects: 1. Design and calculation of equipment for oil and gas facilities. 2. Fundamentals of oil and gas engineering. 3. Composition and properties of oil and gas. 4. Pipeline transport and tank farms. 5. Quality control of oil and gas facilities. 6. Fundamentals of designing oil and gas facilities. 7. Fundamentals of oil and gas processing technology.
Summary of the subject: The essence of the academic discipline is the creation of a version of the current scheme and independent calculation of material balances of oil and gas complex facilities, the principle of operation and calculation algorithm of which the student has mastered in lectures and practical classes in the discipline "Fundamentals of Oil and Gas Engineering" and other disciplines of the OPP "Oil and Gas Engineering and Technologies". The course project (CP) consists of the following main parts: - tasks for the CP; - calculation (with a detailed explanation of all steps); - drawing of the current scheme of oil and gas complex facilities. The student is personally responsible for all decisions made, the correctness and accuracy of calculations, the design of the explanatory note and the graphic part of the CP.
Опис: List of topics covered in the course project. 1. Development of a current scheme, calculation of material balances, hydraulic calculation (if necessary) and description of the processes necessary for the development of a gas condensate field and the final production of marketable products. 2. Development of a current scheme, calculation of material balances, hydraulic calculation (if necessary) and description of the processes necessary for the development of a gas field and the final production of marketable products. 3. Development of a current scheme, calculation of material balances, hydraulic calculation (if necessary) and description of the processes necessary for the development of an associated oil gas field and the final production of marketable products. 4. Development of a current scheme, calculation of material balances, hydraulic calculation (if necessary) and description of the processes necessary for the development of an oil field and the final production of marketable products. 5. Development of the current scheme, calculation of material balances, hydraulic calculation (if necessary) and description of the processes necessary for the development of a water-logged oil field and the final production of marketable products. The composition of the gas (oil) field, the content of formation waters, pressure, type of operation, the length of pipeline routes, the list of necessary products sets the guiding principles of the course design
Assessment methods and criteria: Credit – oral defense of the course project before the commission (individual interview on the topic of the CP).
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The total number of points for the discipline is 100, namely, the defense of the course project in oral form is 100 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points (‘excellent’) - is assigned for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literature sources, the ability to analyse the phenomena studied in their interconnection and development, clearly, concisely, logically, consistently answer the questions posed, the ability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 87-71 marks (‘good’) - is assigned for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 70 - 50 points (‘satisfactory’) - is assigned for poor knowledge of the component's educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for poor application of theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 49-00 points (‘unsatisfactory’) - is assigned for ignorance of a significant part of the component's educational material, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
