Required prior and related subjects: Undergraduate disciplines Completion of master's qualification work
Summary of the subject: During the study of the academic discipline, the student acquires practical knowledge and skills regarding practical research of physico-chemical and mechanical properties of welded joints, which are used in production at this time and will be used in the near future. He masters the main stages of scientific research of the physical and chemical properties of welded joints, the means and methods of their measurements. Learn to correctly form the necessary base of means of measuring physical quantities. Competently process and generalize the results of experiments in order to achieve the maximum result. At the same time, the work is performed by students independently under the individual guidance of the department teacher. It is practiced to carry out real studies of properties and processes on the order of basic enterprises, practice bases, a potential customer of work, an employer, etc. At the same time, the amount of necessary studies is adjusted, their filling in the given direction. This is realized by agreeing the work with the student, the work supervisor and the customer.
Опис: Research work is carried out by students independently under the individual guidance of a department teacher. It is possible to assign students to individual teachers to carry out research work according to an individual plan. The detailed content of individual laboratory work is determined by the supervisor of the student's research work. When drawing up a plan for individual research, it is allowed to adjust the given distribution of hours in the content and sequence of conducting individual laboratory classes in order to obtain the predicted research results. The scope of works, their content and content are discussed and approved by the teacher together with the student. The results obtained in the process of researching the physico-chemical and mechanical properties of welded joints form the basis of the student's future master's thesis. The control measure after completing the course provides for the protection of the research results and the formed report of the research work in the form of calculation and graphic work. Topic 1. The role and tasks of science during the transition to a market economy Topic 2. Organization of scientific activity in Ukraine Topic 3. Organization of research work in a higher educational institution Topic 4. Scientific and research work of students, its forms and role in the training of specialists Topic 5.
