Завдання: Professional competencies:
ФК 2. Ability to operate with terms and definitions of concepts in the field of civil protection, labor protection; basic provisions, requirements and rules regarding monitoring, organization and implementation of measures to prevent and eliminate emergency situations.
ФК 5. Ability to organize supervision (control) of compliance with requirements of legislation in the field of civil protection, man-made and industrial safety and occupational health and safety.
ФК 16. Ability to organize the safe operation of machinery, equipment, and tooling in the field of professional activity to create safe and healthy working conditions.
ФК 17. Ability to organize and carry out training for employees of enterprises, institutions and organizations and people for actions in emergency situations.

Current control – execution of individual practical tasks, learning of theoretical material for individual practical tasks (test).
Exam – written form based on papers that consist of test theoretical and practical tasks, and oral examination.

Summary of the subject: «Labor Protection, Man-caused and Industrial Safety Management System» is a subject that provides students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in legal basics of the labor protection policy of Ukraine, labor discipline and types of responsibility for violations in the field of occupational health and safety, industrial and man-mad safety management, scientific and organizational safety basics of the production process and production stability in emergency situations, training and certification of managers and specialists who operate high-risk facilities.

Current control:
1. The execution of individual practical tasks.
2. Learning of theoretical material for individual practical tasks – test in system «Віртуальне навчальне середовище».
Final control – examination control
1. The exam is based on the results of the subject’s study. It is carried out in written form according to papers that consist of test theoretical and practical tasks.
2. Oral component is carried out in the form of oral examination by the questions that form according to the paper questions from the written exam component.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The criteria for evaluation of the learning outcomes for students:
Current control:
1. The execution of individual practical tasks is 17 points.
2. Learning of theoretical material for individual practical tasks is 23 points.
The total estimation for the current control is 40 points.
Exam:
1. Written component is 50 points.
2. Oral component is 10 points.
The total estimation for the exam is 60 points.
The total estimation for the subject is 100 points.
Procedure and criteria for assigning points and estimations:
1. The estimation for the subjects is displayed on a 100-point scale and it is translated into a 5-point national scale. The scale of converting points into estimations: (1 – 49) points are an estimation of «unsatisfactory»; (50 – 70) points are an estimation as «satisfactory»; (71 – 87) points are an estimation as «good»; (88 – 100) points is an estimation as «excellent».
2. The maximum points for the correct performance of all individual practical tasks are 17 points. Reports on correctly performed practical tasks should contain the title and purpose of practical work, a list of initial data (task), a description of the used methodology with appropriate explanations, calculation dependencies with the interpretation of used values, correctly performed calculations, and conclusions.
The maximum number of points for the correct performance of each practical work:
Development of labor protection instructions is 2 points.
Calculation of the cost of developing labor protection regulations -is 2 points.
Determination of the employees’ number of the labor protection service is 2 points.
Determination of the social effectiveness of labor protection measures at the enterprise is 1 point.
Determination of the economic effect of the successful management of occupational health and safety at the enterprise is 1 point.
Determination of the economic effect of the successful management of occupational health and safety at the enterprise is 1 point.
Determination of the socio-economic effects of measures taken to improve working conditions is 1 point.
Determination of the number of costs during work in adverse conditions is 1 point.
Safety identification and declaration of the high-risk facilities is 4 points.
Organization of occupational safety during high-risk work is 2 points.
3. The maximum points for the learning of the theoretical part about individual practical works are 23 points. To obtain the mentioned points, the student must do a test in the system «Віртуальне навчальне середовище». The test consists of two type’s questions: «multiple choice» and «true-false». Testing time is limited.
4. The maximum points for the written component of the exam are 50 points. The exam is based on the results of the subject’s study. It is carried out in written form according to papers that consist of test theoretical and practical tasks.
5. The maximum points for the oral component of the exam are 10 points. The oral component is carried out in the form of oral examination by the questions that form according to the paper questions from the written exam component.
6. Each student receives his or her evaluation for the subject by summing up his or her results for the current control and exam (written and oral components).
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component that is contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena that being studied in their relationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;
87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks;
70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) are given for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, a violation of the sequence of presentation, or weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;
49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) are awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;
25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
