Анотація: In today’s world, where technological progress constantly changes all spheres of life, it is important to develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize processes in various industries. One of the most promising and relevant areas in this context is GPS fleet monitoring systems. Critical analysis and comparison with already known methods indicate that this problem is urgent and requires deep scientific research. The developed GPS fleet monitoring system is designed to solve a number of key challenges faced by fleet owners. Such a system provides an opportunity to track the location of motor vehicles in real time, control their movement and speed, which contributes to increasing the efficiency of fleet management. In addition, the system provides monitoring of fuel consumption, warns of possible problems with the technical condition of cars, and detects deficiencies in driving style, contributing to road safety and increasing the service life of vehicles [1]. The first chapter examines the history of the development of radio navigation systems and their further evolution to modern global navigation systems. The GPS system, principles of its operation, components and technical characteristics were separately studied [2]. It also describes the general key aspects of monitoring systems that determine their effectiveness and importance. The second section is devoted to the development of the structure of the projected system. The requirements for the system being developed are defined and the structural diagram of the entire system is drawn up based on them. The third section considers the practical implementation of the designed system. A communication channel was selected, a system for increasing the accuracy of GPS data was implemented, and the hardware base for the implementation of the GPS tracker was determined [3]. The software part of the system was also investigated and recommendations for further improvements were provided. The fourth section is the economic part, in which the calculation of costs for the performance of this work is given. Conclusions reflect the result of the work performed. They consist in the readiness to use this system for effective management and control of transport resources. The object of research is modern fleet management systems. The subject of research is GPS monitoring technology. The purpose of the research is the analysis and development of the GPS system for monitoring the fleet with the aim of optimizing the management and effective control of motor vehicles in the conditions of modern transport challenges. The result of the work is a developed GPS fleet monitoring system based on modern microcontrollers and sensors.
