Abstract: Kosyi R.O, Yakovenko E.I (supervisor). (ІоT-Based Аutomated Management and Control of Business Premises Comfort and Safety). Master’s thesis. - Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2020. Extended abstract The reality is that in a world of more than 7 billion people, 70 million people join the middle class each year. This growing class spends $ 8 trillion on its own consumption, and its needs are forcing companies to increase productivity, efficiency, flexibility, and reduce competitive costs. Manufacturers also have to ensure compliance with international standards and effectively manage internal risks, while increasing the interconnectedness of their enterprises. Internet of Things (IoT) - concept network, which consists of interconnected physical devices that have built-in sensors, and software that allows the transfer and exchange of data between the physical world and computer systems in automatic mode, using standard protocols. In addition to sensors, the network may have actuators built into physical objects and interconnected through wired or wireless networks. These interconnected devices have the ability to read and activate, the function of programming and identification, as well as eliminate the need for human participation, through the use of intelligent interfaces. The smart home is a general term used to describe an infinite number of products and technologies that greatly enhance the functionality of home devices, and they usually do so on the basis of a converged network structure. In other words, networks of audio, video, and telephone data services used in premises for various purposes. The "smart home" is a kind of intelligent wiring that works on the basis of the control program. The program, in turn, manages the building and monitors the operation of various household appliances and engineering systems. Z-Wave is a wireless communication protocol used primarily for home automation. It is a network that uses low-energy radio waves to communicate from device to device, allowing wireless monitoring of residential appliances and other devices. As of May 2017, there are more than 1,700 related Z-Wave products. ZigBee is the wireless standard of data transmission. Supported and developed by the eponymous ZigBeeTM alliance, which was established in 2002 to work together to develop the most effective protocols and ensuring the compatibility of devices from different manufacturers. ZigBee networks are self-organizing and self-healing networks, as ZigBee devices are able to find each other and form a network when the power is turned on, thanks to the built-in software, and in case of failure of any of the nodes can set new routes for messaging. Bluetooth - the technology of wireless communication created in 1998 year by a group of companies: Ericsson, IBM, Intel, Nokia, Toshiba. Currently, developments in the field of Bluetooth are conducted by the Bluetooth SIG group (English Special Interest Group). The main purpose of Bluetooth is to provide economical and cheap radio communication between various types of electronic devices. The purpose of the study: Automation of management and control of comfort and safety of office space (enterprise) using IoT technologies. The result is a project created on the basis of Arduino to collect data from the user’s environment: temperature and humidity, information about the ignition of the room, information about the presence of unauthorized access to the room, user notifications and relevant services in case of emergency.
