Abstract: Danyliv N.V., Vivat A.Y. (supervisor). Analysis of vertical movements of the earth’s surface in the area of the Dniester PSPP. Master’s thesis. - Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2020. Extended annotation. Vertical movements of the earth’s crust are movements perpendicular to the earth’s surface. Vertical movements lead to raising or lowering of the earth. Data from GNSS devices, pendulum and collimator devices are used to study vertical movements. Thus, in [1] it was investigated that GNSS measurements are less expensive and are used to accurately monitor vertical and horizontal movements, although they are less accurate than pendulum instruments. Also, vertical movements can be studied using 3-D scanning [2], and as a result, you can compare the TIN model for certain measurement cycles. In [3], using the results of high-precision leveling (class I) of the points of the Rivne NPP network (Ukraine) during 1984–2013, the values of the linear trend, the length of the period and the amplitude of oscillations of all points were determined. In [4], based on the results of GNSS measurements at the points of the Zagorskaya HPP network (Russia) during 2000–2011, a map of the distribution of velocities of relative vertical movements of the study area was constructed. Comparisons of GNSS and traditional geodetic measurements during 2006-2010 at Ataturska HPP (Turkey) in [5] confirmed the possibility of using them to monitor deformations of the dam and surrounding areas. Study object - geodetic methods of control of vertical movements of the object. Scope of research - the results of observation of vertical movements. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the dynamics of vertical displacements of the Novodnistrovsky PSPP dam. As a result of the master’s qualification work, the velocities of vertical movements of benchmarks at Novodnistrovskaya PSP were calculated, a map-scheme of distribution of average annual velocities of vertical movements of points during the research period was constructed, and the results were analyzed.
