Abstract: Onyshkevych L.I., Vronska N.Yu. (supervisor). Analysis of wastewater treatment technologies for bio yogurt production. Master`s thesis. – Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2020. Extended abstract Water resources are the basis of life and activity of peoples living on Earth and ensure the economic and social well-being of the population, the existence of fauna and flora. A huge amount of pollutants are introduced into surface waters with wastewater from various enterprises, including the food industry. At the moment in our country the issue of purification of industrial waters from various kinds of pollution and various classes of danger of the enterprises is acute. At the moment in our country there is an acute issue at the expense of purification of industrial waters from various kinds of pollution and various class of danger of the enterprises [1]. Wastewater discharged from the territories of industrial enterprises is divided into three types, such as: industrial, domestic and atmospheric. The most important indicators of wastewater from dairies during their discharge into natural reservoirs are oxidation, BSC, HSC, pH, content of undissolved fats and nitrogen-containing compounds [2]. When untreated wastewater enters water bodies, various negative changes in natural water bodies occur, namely the appearance of new bacteria, including pathogenic ones, changes in the chemical composition of cells disrupt the processes of respiration, growth and reproduction of organisms, possible mutations and carcinogenesis; disturbed movement and orientation in the marine environment, significantly changes the photosynthetic effect in general, the content of dissolved, insoluble and colloidal substances, also impedes the penetration of light into water and delays photosynthesis in aquatic plants, especially in algae, which under the action of sunlight form oxygen. necessary for the oxidation of 99organic contaminants, rot, the formation on the water surface of a film that prevents gas exchange between water and the atmosphere, which reduces the degree of oxygen saturation of water, the appearance of unpleasant odors and tastes in water, which is especially unacceptable and the needs of food production [3]. The relevance of this thesis is that organic yogurt and other dairy products are products of daily consumption and useful for our body. Consumption of milk and dairy products is daily among Ukrainians, respectively, and the production of these products is powerful [4]. Dairy wastewater can be treated from fat by settling, filtering, flotation and coagulation. When defending wastewater, large particles of fat and other suspended solids are released. Flotation also allows to remove fine impurities from effluents. When defending wastewater, large particles of fat and other suspended solids are released. Flotation also allows to remove fine impurities from effluents. At coagulation of sewage both finely dispersed suspended particles, and emulsified, colloidal impurity are allocated. Zeolites can be an effective natural mineral for water purification, which due to their porous structure are able to absorb aggressive and toxic compounds [5]. The nature of zeolite pores and their size have been established, which gives grounds to use it for wastewater treatment of dairy processing enterprises due to adsorption of lactic acid. The object of study of this master’s thesis is the process of contamination of wastewater by dairies, namely from the production of organic yogurts in dairies. Scope of research - indicators of water pollution by harmful substances. Goal of research: search, analysis and determination of effective technologies for industrial wastewater treatment from bioyogurt production. Briefly put research results. The result of the study was a combined and modernized wastewater treatment scheme, namely the technological scheme of pre-treatment using natural zeolite and additional treatment on a submerged biofilter. A novelty is the choice of modern equipment for wastewater treatment, which will reduce the content of harmful substances when discharging water. Economic efficiency - the proposed scheme is environmentally and economically feasible.
