Master’s thesis. - Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2020. The principles of advocacy are indisputable for characterizing the functional and organizational foundations of advocacy, because it is the fundamental principles that determine the essence of advocacy. The principles of advocacy make it possible to explore the functional and organizational foundations of advocacy through a system of ideas enshrined in law, each of which reflects a specific principle, and together characterizes the entire institution of advocacy. Obviously, the principles of advocacy are separate groups from general concept, its existence as consequence of this general concept. The general concept covers functional and organizational foundations of advocacy. The general concept foundations of advocacy characterizes the basic principles of construction principles of the Bar as a legal institution. Study object – study of the principles of advocacy of Ukraine and it`s system. Scope of research – general, foundations and organizational foundations of advocacy. Goal of research – all the basic principles of advocacy in Ukraine are cdoveraged. The principles of advocacy are the basic, guiding ideas, basic principles and patterns on which its organization and activities, the implementation of advocacy. According to the subject of regulation, the principles of advocacy are divided into general, functional (principles of advocacy) and organizational principles (principles of organization of advocacy). The general foundations of advocacy is include Rule of law, legality, democracy, professionalism of the lawyer; the functional foundations of advocacy is include the independence of the lawyer in the practice of law, the practice of law exclusively in the interests of the client, confidentiality; organizational foundations of advocacy шis include obligatory membership of advocates of Ukraine in the National Association of Advocates of Ukraine, equality of advocates, corporate self-government, publicity, freedom of choice of the form of organization of advocacy.
