Abstract: Recently, there has been a rapid development of tourism, which is reflected in the communication and transport spheres. Such results should be associated with the growth of people’s needs and the development of infrastructure. The client can contact the tour operators to obtain the desired travel conditions. This can be done in person at the company’s office or by phone call. However, this is not the most efficient way. It is already somewhat outdated, does not allow making reservations and other aspects of travel fast, profitable and transparent. However, the development of information technologies has not bypassed tourism, the spheres of communication and transport. These areas have become the main consumers of products and innovations in information technology due to the rapid growth in demand for travel. Most often, this is the creation of electronic and online reservation, information and communication systems. Online ticket reservation systems allow you to change the quality of customer service, allowing them to make reservations much easier and faster. After all, now you only need to have access to the Internet to make a reservation. After that, the client will be able to get a wide range of offers, compare prices and conditions provided by different companies and make a choice without any pressure. Also, reservation systems make it possible to increase the efficiency and quality of customer service by the staff of travel companies, to automate the receipt of statistics and information about orders, which leads to the improvement and development of companies. In order to make a reservation, it used to be necessary to be physically present at the hotel or representative office. It was also possible to make a reservation by phone, but in this case, a person had a certain limitation, because he could only guess what a hotel room looks like. But with the passage of time and the development of technology, everything has changed. After the development of technologies, the tourism industry has undergone significant changes. First of all, the hotel business began to automate all processes of hotel operation and interaction with guests. Until recently, the majority of hotels in Ukraine avoided global trends, but now it is experiencing one of the largest stages of mass reorientation from a paper-manual approach to the use of automated hotel management. Today, automated management systems have become a necessary element for business development [1]. Also, due to the rapid growth of the Internet, the number of online travel agencies has increased. Online travel agencies (OTA) are places where service providers advertise for hotel reservations and other additional services that improve and facilitate the travel process. In other words, OTA is an intermediary that connects tourists who need hotel reservations and, in fact, hotels that provide the appropriate services. In the process, the OTA receives a commission for the provision of services. Online travel agencies recorded both a decrease and an increase in the number of choices for booking by which method. However, many representatives of the hotel business stopped paying attention to online travel agencies and started promoting direct bookings. OTAs have started to gain a lot of popularity in booking capacity recently. Therefore, they are increasingly being used for planning and carrying out trips [2]. In addition, online travel agencies offer not only hotel reservations, but also a number of other benefits: • a large selection of offers; • pay for the reservation after arriving at the hotel; • instant booking confirmation; • availability of a personal office; • conformity of price and quality; • help analysts from the hotel business to get a lot of useful information, providing convenient and understandable tools for this; • provide greater visibility on the Internet, which helps to attract the attention of a larger number of potential customers [3]. The object of the study is the process of automating the search and reservation of hotels and transport for tourism. The subject of the research is methods and means of creating a project of an information system for booking transport and hotels for tourism based on web technologies. The goal of the work is to create a project of an information system for booking transport and hotels for tourism, which will become competitive in the market. The result of the research was the creation of a project of an information system for booking transport and hotels for tourism, which allows the user to book rooms, transport and tours. Methodological principles of the research are also given, the system is compared with analogues, a tree of goals is built, system functioning is specified, system requirements are created, project requirements are defined and analyzed, project implementation planning is carried out, the project task is implemented, a description of the implementation is given, the results of the project implementation are analyzed, analyzed compliance of the system with design requirements.
