Abstract: In the conditions of growing globalization of society, cooperation of individual countries in various fields - from economy to culture and health care, transport, as a necessary connecting element, not only does not lose its importance, but on the contrary, becomes more and more relevant. International transportation is an important part of the functioning of both individual entrepreneurs and states and interstate associations. Economic cooperation between Ukraine and England has significantly intensified in recent years, which is also reflected in the volume of cargo transportation between the countries: over the past 10 years, the volume of export/import operations has increased by 25%. Therefore, the study of factors affecting the duration of cargo delivery in the direction of Ukraine - England is an urgent task, which will allow to propose solutions for increasing the efficiency of such transportation. The competitiveness of Ukrainian carriers on the market directly depends on the efficiency of the organization and execution of international transportation. According to research conducted by the authors O. Protsyk and S. Iordanova, the transport and technological scheme of cargo delivery in international traffic is structurally divided into separate stages [1]. The duration of some stages depends on the length of the route, and some – do not [2]. When considering the logistics chain of cargo delivery in international traffic, two subsystems are usually distinguished: separate elements of the supply chain of one state and elements of the supply chain of another state [3]. The authors [3] single out the minimization of the total costs for the organization of the transportation process, taking into account the costs of the operation of customs points, as a criterion for the efficiency of the logistics system of international freight transportation. Based on the results of the research, the following tasks were completed: 1) the research of Ukrainian and foreign scientists on factors affecting the efficiency of international transportation was analyzed; 2) based on the processing of the CMR, provided by the FOP Krekhovetsky Oleg Bogdanovych, information was obtained regarding the conditions of cargo transportation from Ukraine to England, and statistical data was obtained by processing the CMR, regarding the durations of the passage of individuals elements of the routes; 3) delivery speeds are calculated separately for sections of routes passing through the territory of Ukraine, sections of routes passing through the territory of the EU, and sections passing through the territory of England; 4) In order to assess the influence of traffic path parameters of sections of routes passing through the territory of Ukraine, an analysis of these sections was carried out according to the following indicators: the length of the section of the route; which roads the route takes; according to which regime the drivers worked on the route. Corresponding dependencies are built. The largest range of changes in delivery speeds (from 10 to 44 km/h) is observed when moving through the territory of Ukraine, which can be explained by the different lengths, conditions of the road surface, and traffic conditions of this section. The range of changes in the speed of communication on the section of traffic through the territory of the EU ranges from 15 to 35 km/h, although the main set of values is within the range of 15 to 24 km/h. The range of changes in communication speeds on the section of traffic on the territory of England ranges from 8 to 32 km/h (the main set of values is 10-25 km/h). The duration of crossing the border is quite significant and takes from 18 to 30% of the entire duration of the trip. In general, average traffic speeds on M/E class roads are higher than on national roads. The low average speeds on the sections of the routes from Girny and Kolchyno, which pass through highways of international importance, can be explained by mountainous traffic conditions. Histograms of the distribution of movement speeds when moving through the territory of Europe, durations of movement through the territory of Europe, and movement speeds when moving through the territory of England were also constructed. The densities of the distribution of speeds vary according to the power distribution, and the distribution of the duration of the movement - according to the normal distribution. Keywords: international freight transportation, delivery speed, duration of border crossing, road category, traffic conditions. References. 1. Protsyk O. P., Iordanova S. S. (2016).
