Abstract: In the course of the city’s development, there is urbanization, a change in public activities in its parts. The level of motorization in the city is increasing. The intensity and density of cars on the road network is increasing. There is a question of the efficiency of traffic management, since the existing implementations are outdated. ODR - organization of road traffic.[1] For this, transport studies are conducted, which aim to collect information about road traffic, to obtain initial data for planning, designing, and modernizing highways. For this, a set of measures is provided to ensure traffic safety, speed of movement, informativeness of road signs and pointers. In the course of field studies, such indicators were determined as: intensity, speed of traffic flow, its composition. The composition of the traffic flow is considered: passenger cars have a larger share among the flow, and the flow includes both public transport (buses and trolleybuses) and cargo. The calculation of the combined traffic intensity was carried out. It is possible to achieve the proper functioning of transport systems provided that conditions are created on the existing street and road network with the help of a complex of engineering, technical and organizational measures, which are aimed at the maximum use by the traffic flow of the opportunities presented by the geometric parameters of the road and its condition, which contributes to increasing the safety and comfort of all road users. The problem of traffic organization includes the issue of the studied area. There is a need to assess the factors influencing the traffic flow in it.[2,3] The diploma project examines the section of the street and road network of the city of Lviv along Zeleniya Street (from the intersection with Luhanska Street to the intersection with Buzkova Street). Field studies were conducted at this intersection. Namely, after analyzing the movement of traffic flows along it, it was found that significant traffic delays are created due to inappropriate traffic management. Also, as statistics show, there is a significant traffic accident at this intersection. In the work, a decision was made to widen the carriageway along the main Zelena road and the corresponding change in traffic light regulation at nearby intersections. At the same time, the red lines of the city’s development make it possible to implement such an engineering solution. Space for pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure has been calculated and allocated. To determine the feasibility of the proposed project, a traffic simulation model was created in the PTV Vissim software environment. Based on this, the length of time vehicles stay in traffic jams and the average length of traffic jams are determined. Study object – is the section of Zelena Street in the city of Lviv (from the intersection with Luhanska St. to the intersection with Buzkova St.) Study object – is the patterns of traffic delays and their impact on traffic flow indicators Scope ofresearch : creation of a design model of the movement of the traffic organization scheme on the street section in the PTV Vissim program. Taking into account the results of natural and documentary research. As a result of the research... Keywords – traffic flow intensity, traffic speed, traffic safety, traffic light regulation, pedestrian infrastructure, public transport, PTV Vissim. References 1. Yermak, O. M., & Sumets, A. I.
