Abstract: In this master’s thesis the development of mechanisms for reducing overhead costs in terms of international economic activity at PE "WWII-TRANS", which is engaged in international road transport of goods in Ukraine and the European Union. A detailed assessment of literature sources and research papers to define the concept of overhead costs and mechanisms for reducing them, analyzed the state of production and economic and financial activities of the studied entity, considered the components of overhead costs, and demonstrated the dynamics of their share in full cost analysis. The used mechanisms of reduction of general production costs for PE "VMV-TRANS" are defined and investigated, the advantages and disadvantages of each of the mechanisms are established. Based on the results, the current mechanism for reducing overhead costs for Kaizen-costing is recommended.
