Characteristics of the educational program: Orientation of the program: the program is based on the fundamental postulates of architecture and urban planning and the results of scientific research in the field of innovative development of the theory and practice of architecture. Aimed at the development of theoretical, methodological and applied base of architecture and urban planning with the latest trends, which deepens the professional worldview and provides a basis for further professional scientific and practical activities. Features of the program: educational and professional program covers a wide range of modern innovative vectors of theory and practice of architecture and urban planning, which forms an updated theoretical and applied basis for research.
Gained competence: - to gain knowledge of basic concepts, terms and meanings, language of professional communication in the sphere of architecture and urban planning, to adhere to the academic integrity standards; - to gain knowledge of the regulatory framework of the architectural and urban planning, to critically assess socio-economic, environmental, ethical and aesthetic consequences in case of violation of the state building codes; - to identify the specifics of design of complex architectural and urban planning objects, to develop complex projects of planning of territories, buildings and interiors with account for the current world tendencies and innovations; - to identify stages and directions of the historical development of architectural phenomena, to critically evaluate and analyze trends and processes the in architectural theory and practice, reconstruction and renovation of architectural and urban planning facilities, interior design.
- to apply software tools, modern IT technologies, information resources in the process of solving research and design problems in the sphere of architecture and urban planning; - to generate data of the pre-project analysis of architectural and urban planning objects and territories allocated for construction, reconstruction or restoration; - to make informed decisions with account for safety, sanitary and hygienic, environmental, engineering-technical and economic regulations and indicators in the architectural and urban planning; - to design architectural buildings and constructions in the historically formed urban environment with account for the prospects of development of territories and regional aspects of the architecture; - to develop concepts of modern interior spaces, to design interior elements of residential and public buildings; - to carry out research and/or innovation activities, to apply traditional and innovative methods of design and research; - to develop theoretical, typological approaches to solving problems of formation and development of architectural and urban planning environment based on the systematization of data of natural, human and technical sciences
- to organize and carry out effective communications within the team, to combine personal and collective work over complex architectural and urban planning projects; - to initiate participation in the development of competitive projects, to develop and present conceptual architectural and urban planning solutions, to use creative methods of activity; - to timely implement all phases and stages of the architectural and urban planning and develop all sections of the complex project and explanatory note.
