Learning outcomes: Analyze and solve complex problems and problems that require updating and integration of knowledge, often in conditions of incomplete / insufficient information and conflicting requirements, select and use the necessary scientific, methodological tools. Understand the nature, principles and social role of architectural activities; provide responsibility for the effectiveness and consequences of decision-making in the field of architecture and urban planning in compliance with the basics of professional ethics. Conduct research and / or innovation activities; apply traditional and innovative research methods. To form theoretical principles of architectural design on the basis of systematization of data of natural, humanities and technical sciences, to apply theoretical-methodological and typological approaches to the decision of problems of formation and development of architectural and town-planning environment. Apply knowledge of basic concepts, terms and meanings, the language of professional communication in the field of architecture and urban planning; adhere to the norms of academic integrity and the rules of compiling scientific texts. Identify stages and directions of historical development of architectural phenomena, critically evaluate and study trends and processes in architectural theory and practice, reconstruction and renovation of architectural and urban objects, interior design. To develop professional knowledge through self-education, participation in architectural and town-planning competitive designing, in scientific and technical actions
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: Design process technology, Architectural design of public buildings. Modern concepts and innovations in architecture and urban planning, Comprehensive research of architectural and urban planning object
Summary of the subject: Іndependent scientific and practical research of the chosen topic. Writing an explanatory note, visualization of scientific results. Development of design tasks, author's design solution of an architectural object. Design of the project part of the work.
