Characteristics of the educational program: The educational-scientific program is based on the fundamental tenets of design and the results of modern scientific research in the field of innovative development of the theory and practice of design. It is aimed at the development of theoretical and methodological and methodological and applied base of design with accentuation of the latest tendencies of development of design, which deepens the professional scientific outlook and provides the basis for carrying out scientific researches and further professional and scientific activity.
Gained competence: 1. In-depth knowledge of conceptual-methodological and methodological-applied principles of design in historical and modern perspectives, its conceptual apparatus and practical experience.
2. A thorough knowledge and understanding of the philosophical methodology of cognition, the key principles of professional ethics, the system of moral and cultural values.
3. Ability to initiate and conduct original scientific research, identify current scientific problems, search and critically analyze information, produce innovative design ideas and apply non-standard approaches to solving complex and atypical problems.
4. Ability to express oratory and rhetorical skills in presenting the results of scientific research, to conduct professional scientific conversation and discussion with the broad scientific community and the public in Ukrainian, to form scientific texts in writing, to organize and conduct educational activities, to use progressive information.
5. The ability to initiate, substantiate and manage current innovative projects of an innovative nature, independently carry out scientific research, to interact in a team and to show leadership skills when carrying out scientific projects.
6. In-depth knowledge of the historical foundations of the development of the theory and practice of design, fundamental tenets and paradigms in the field of design, the latest trends in design and conceptual ideas and methods of design classics.
7. In-depth knowledge of classical and modern scientific tools for the study of cultural and artistic phenomena and processes in various fields of design.
8. Ability to identify and understand cause and effect relationships between socio-cultural and artistic phenomena and processes in the field of design, identify and evaluate impact factors.
9. Ability to evaluate and predict different artistic phenomena and processes in the field of design.
1. Apply knowledge from various subject areas of design to formulate and justify new theoretical propositions and practical recommendations in a particular field of study.
2. Integrate and apply the acquired knowledge from different cross-curricular areas in the process of solving theoretical and applied problems in a specific field of research.
3. To choose and apply the methodology and tools of scientific research in carrying out theoretical and empirical research in the field of design.
4. To conduct scientific researches and carry out scientific projects on the basis of identification of actual scientific problems, definition of goals and tasks, formation and critical analysis of information base, substantiation and commercialization of research results, formulation of author's conclusions and suggestions.
5. Perform cultural and artistic modeling and socio-ergonomic diagnosis of various processes and objects in the field of design.
6. Conduct scientific discussion and discussion in Ukrainian and English at the appropriate professional level, present the results of scientific research in oral and written form, organize and conduct training sessions.
1. Ability to communicate in a business scientific and professional language, apply different styles of speech, methods and techniques of communication, demonstrate a broad scientific and professional vocabulary.
2. Ability to apply modern information and communication tools and technologies to ensure effective scientific and professional communications.
Academic mobility: Within the framework of the EU Erasmus + program on the basis of bilateral agreements between the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" and the educational institutions of the partner countries.
